The first business to receive such a business, Cannabis Experience, hit the road in early March in Denver. Local news station Denver7 reported at the time that the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses, which issued the license, “believes it may be the first and only licensed mobile ma*****na hospitality establishment in the nation.”...

Fall is always eventful in Oregon cannabis. Croptober is an Oregon cannabis tradition— hopefully the crops come in lee of any wildfires. We also have administrative rulemaking annually once summer winds down, typically with public input via multiple rules advisory committees (RACs). That’s what I’m here to discuss. This year, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) likely will look at, to start: temporary rules it had adopted under the Governor’s clumsy tax compliance mandate; the 2023 legislative session’s new cannabis laws; leftover business from the 2022 session; and certain COVID-era policies....

By Victor Bockris 1) At London’s Gatwick Airport, I went straight to the cafeteria, stationed myself at a deserted corner table, put an o***m pellet on my tongue and washed it down with two cups of tepid tea, apparently a catalyst. On a jammed Laker flight to New York, I managed to read three novels undisturbed by the monster pushing my seat forward, the two monsters in front pushing their seats backward and the Frenchman beside me growing his beard, because airplanes make me feel secure....

Last week, a LinkedIn post by cannabis economist Beau Whitney caught my eye, because Beau said something pretty amazing. He said: “licensed acres in h**p are at pre-farm bill levels.” Could that be true? Before the 2018 Farm Bill, only a few states ran limited “research” pilot programs for h**p. The level of straight-up false information in cannabis advertising online is staggering. It’s almost too hard to describe. How did Barbenheimer come into existence? Is it because there is something inherently funny about combining a movie as hyperfeminine as Barbie with one as ultramasculine as Oppenheimer? Or is it actually just an excuse for dudebros to play with dolls and not feel embarrassed?...
