As someone who has also dealt with chronic health issues I wish I would have known how important it is to be your own advocate! Being diagnosed with a medical condition is not only scary, but confusing and overwhelming! I wish I had known then what I know now and that is to make sure you get as many opinions as possible, change doctors if you need to, bring a loved one to appointments to help ask questions and retain information! Talk to people who have also been diagnosed with your condition and find out what has worked for them, join support groups if available! It is so important to gather as much information as possible before you move forward with any treatment!

Wanted to share some Life Lessons from our Mom with you all:
• Love others as Jesus loves them
• Trust yourself
• After God, family matters most
• Watch and observe your children, play with your children
• Speak positive affirmations daily to yourself and to your children
• Tell God what you are grateful for everyday
• In marriage, put your husband first, men are like children and need attention hehe
• Do what makes you happy
• Trust your instincts
• Speak as if it is already done
• Create a place for everything, when you are organized, your mind is free
• Nourish your body, God gave you one body so treat it well
• When you see something in someone else you don’t like, point the finger back at you
• Always be willing to look at yourself in any situation and think what you could have done differently
• Forgive freely as Jesus has forgiven us
