Saigon, Vietnam... A beautiful city surrounded by so much life. Walking down the street you can see the clash between new and old technology that comes together from the intermingling of people from all backgrounds and perspectives. The hustle and bustle of people working in these very skyrises to the street food vendors brings a roar to the skyline. A city growing from the vast introduction of 21st century technology.

On behalf of Creative Cove Media Group, we would like to express our anger for the saddening way our country has treated its minorities. The instances of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others are not isolated events. They are the result of systemic oppression and racism that have been a part of our country’s history since its founding. This is not a time to stay silent, instead it is a time to further educate ourselves, stand in solidarity with those fighting for reform, and continue committing to the movement everyday.

Executive Team Highlight: Daniel A. Macabuhay

Daniel is the CEO and the driving force behind CCMG. With over 8 years of industry experience, he has been instrumental in setting and guiding the company’s vision regarding both network and industrial expansion, and with sole greenlight authority on the company’s projects he assures a high level of quality when it comes to CCMG’s projects.

Daniel started his career at local production houses, working his way up the ranks and firmly solidifying his place in producing after working on hit shows like DUCK DYNASTY, DROPPIN’ CASH: LOS ANGELES, and the documentary DRUG$: THE PRICE WE PAY.

Currently, Daniel has submerged himself in the documentary space and is Producing on a few philanthropic projects as well as delving into the SVOD field. While pursuing his dream in medicine, Dan fell in love with film by creating and producing pieces for local festivals. He quickly rerouted and graduated with a degree in Business and Film at the University of California, Riverside.

Derek oversees all of CCMG’s accounting and finance-related activities of the company, including production finance, financial planning/strategy, and financial reporting.

Having started several thriving businesses in the greater Los Angeles area, he takes his aim at his true passion in film and documentaries. Before making a name for himself as an entrepreneur, a brief stint in acting and producing solidified Derek’s love for film and television. With a rock solid intuition and a drive like no other, he is primed to take his prowess to the entertainment industry.

Our team has years of producing experience on notable broadcast television shows in both the documentary and reality categories. Works displayed on Netflix, Discovery Channel, A&E, USA Network, National Geographic, CBS, WeTV, HGTV, and many digital platforms as well. Currently, CCMG is working diligently on numerous projects across a wide array of genres for a robust programming lineup and continued growth of the company.

Creative Cove's development staff is fine tuned and focused on their objective; to achieve the highest quality storytelling. Whether it’s documenting the lives and loves of the new generation or writing nonfiction dramas grounded in relatable life experiences, CCMG is continually expanding its original body of work across primetime, cable television, feature films, documentary films, digital and social media platforms. With a strong core of innovative storytellers, the development department has the appropriate experience and workflow to be able to efficiently organize ideas before even hitting production.

During production, we have the necessary crew who have worked on big studio projects, run and gun documentaries, and reality television to tackle any creative materials put in front of us. Along with in-house cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, CCMG has the appropriate relations both locally and nationally for any size project. From Dana Dolleys to Technocranes, our team will make it happen.

In our post production department, Creative Cove's meticulous story producers and editors know how to organize material quickly and efficiently to yield the best product to be screened for an audience. CCMG's custom edit suites and supplementary programs provide: creative management, offline edit, color correction, audio mixing, and deliverables can be done in-house. We are a one stop shop for a more stress free experience.
