“And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.” (Exodus 24:8)

Why would Moses sprinkle the blood of the sacrifice on the people? Sounds a little bizarre, right?

I love the tie in to King Benjamin’s people when they recognized their sinful state and pleaded for him to “apply the atoning blood of Christ” to them (Mosiah 4:2)

What a reminder of their covenants and their ability to redeem us.
