WORRY NOT

Cease your fret, let worries take flight,
For after the darkest night, comes morning light.
Stand firm, for this too shall pass,
In strength's embrace, you'll find your class.

Seek a smile, let joy unfurl,
Life's brief span is a precious pearl.
Worry saps the spirit, leaves minds askew,
Seek beauty in all, in every hue.

So lift your gaze, let hope's song resound,
In every act, let grace be found.
For life's too fleeting for dismay,
Cherish each moment, come what may.

And as the stars fade with dawn's glow,
Remember, it's but a transient woe.
With each sunrise, new joys compile,
End each verse of life with a smile.

My hardworking nephew

It was a scorching afternoon, in the midst of the festive season.

I was spending time with my family when my 3-year-old nephew expressed his eagerness to accompany his elder siblings to fetch water.

However, his request was denied because it was too hot outside.

Nevertheless, the young man was persistent and refused to give up on his wish. You know how stubborn they can be when they want something.

Despite our efforts to convince him otherwise, he kept insisting until we finally gave in.

We watched him closely as he used a 75cl table water bottle to fill up a bucket in the backyard.

He repeated the process several times until we managed to persuade him to take a break and rest for a while. It was then that I decided to check the water level in the bucket he was filling.

To my surprise, there was not even a single drop of water in it. I realized that my little nephew had been trying his best to fill a broken bucket all this while.

The incident touched my heart, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy.

He had put in so much effort, but it was all in vain.......................................

It's crucial to track your progress and avoid neglecting small mistakes that can lead to failure.

Be disciplined and strategic in your planning, and make sure to review your plans regularly.

Remember that success requires attention to detail and consistent effort. So, stay focused and take ownership of your actions to achieve your goals.

A hunter and his dog

Once upon a time, there was a skilled hunter named Etete who lived in a small village with his family and his loyal black dog, Otaka. One day, the family ran short of food, and Etete had no other option but to go hunting. He took his trusty dog Otaka with him, hoping to find some meat to sell and buy other necessities.

The duo wandered the dense forest from morning till evening, but luck was not on their side. Just as they were about to give up, they stumbled upon a massive grasscutter. Etete was thrilled, and he charged toward the animal, as he marched and smashed the dried bushes like a bulldozer hoping to catch it. But the animal was too fast, and Etete failed to capture it.

Disappointed, he left the animal for his dog, which the dog killed. He was happily expecting the meat. But after some minutes didn't see any meat or his dog.

Etete searched everywhere but found nothing. He was worried sick, as such a thing had never happened before. Even when the dog goes hunting on its own, Otaka must bring whatever it killed home. What then happened? He angrily went home.

After two days, Otaka returned, looking healthier and more energetic than ever before. From the dog's appearance, Etete realized that Otaka had killed the animal and hid it to eat it later. Upon the condition they were in that day, Otaka had the mind to do such a thing, he cursed.

Etete realized his mistake and felt guilty for not treating Otaka better. He had only given the dog bones that he couldn't eat, and his children often kicked him out while they enjoyed the meat that Otaka had helped hunt.

He was amazed that even a dog could think and plan like a human. Etete decided to treat Otaka better and promised to be fair to him from then on................................

Honesty is the mother of trust and trust is the foundation of any human relationship.

Treat everyone equally, true connections come from honesty and trust.

Never take someone's honesty as an act of foolishness rather reciprocate with equal energy.

As we enter the second month of the year, remember that all those beautiful resolutions of yours need honesty to manifest. Honesty to yourself and others.

Time heals.......

Anne doesn't know how far she has buried her past.

Anne, a young, vibrant lady who refuses to let her past define her. Despite facing unimaginable hardship at a young age. She has emerged stronger and healed with time.

She was forced to live with her uncle after her father's death, only to face molestation at his hands. But refused to let the darkness consume her.

She has forgotten almost everything with time, as she found love with James, which she thought would never be possible, because of the trauma of what she passed through.

Anne is now in a beautiful relationship that promises a bright future. ...............................

Remember every problem has a solution, with time the solution will come.

No matter what you face, never dwell on your past, focus on building a brighter future.

Keep being strong and resilient in the face of adversity.

No condition is permanent!!

Honey and bee

Honey and bees are two sides of the same coin. While honey is a natural sweetener that serves as food and medicine, bees are aggressive insects especially when threatened, and can pose a threat when their hives are located near living environments.

It is important to remember that despite the negative side of bees, we should not forget the sweetness and benefits of honey.

Let's appreciate the goodness of honey while taking necessary measures to avoid the dangers of bees.

No bee no honey, be brave!!

Deception the salt of romance

Elizabeth, also known as Chatty Lizzy Baby, is totally obsessed with her online friends. She can't go a minute without checking her phone and sometimes even forgets to eat because of the joy her virtual pals bring her. But things take a wild turn when she meets Desmond, aka Mr. Fine Boy, a wealthy and extravagant guy who she instantly falls for. Their online friendship blossoms at lightning speed, and Lizzy begins to dream of a future as Mrs. Fine Boy. Without caring to know more about him even when he sounds like he knows her from somewhere.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth's younger sister, Promise, was also enjoying the attention of men on social media. She was particularly drawn to a man who appeared to be wealthy, but she doubted his identity at first. However, he continued to bribe her with gifts and tokens whenever she requested a video chat, so she eventually gave in.

Everything seemed to be going well for the two sisters, and the family was happy that their two daughters had found suitors. Lizzy was using her sister's phone to connect to her internet, when a message banged, she opened it. To her shock, she discovered that Mr. Fine boy was also dating her sister and had promised her marriage as well. The family was devastated to learn that both of their daughters had fallen for a man with a fake identity and none of the two sisters had seen this suitor physically.

With the help of their brother, Lucas, they discovered that Mr. fine boy, was actually their former houseboy, Desmond, who had been dismissed for stealing.

Desmond had plotted revenge against the family by promising their daughters marriage with a fake identity, to cause them pain.

The two sisters were left confused and heartbroken, but they promised to learn from their mistakes and move on..................................

It's important to remember that the internet can be a dangerous place, and we must exercise caution when interacting with strangers online.

Elizabeth's story serves as a reminder that we should not be quick to trust people we meet, as they may not be who they claim to be. We must be vigilant and take the time to verify someone's identity before getting too involved with them. This is especially important during this festive period, when many people are vulnerable to scams and other forms of manipulation.

Remember, not everything we see is real, and we should never give anyone our trust without first verifying their identity and intentions.
Stay safe !!

Happy celebrations ❤️

"How did you people able to survive with just farming" My question to my grandfather.

"My son, he said, life back then was simpler and more meaningful. We did not have the luxuries that people have now, but we were self-sufficient and happy. We didn't have to depend on anyone for our daily needs, everything we needed was locally made by us. We were never bothered by hunger or food scarcity, and we lived in harmony with each other.

We followed a routine and maintained a schedule. In April, we would start farming, but preparations and clearing began months earlier. We did not have tractors or any other farming equipment to aid us, but we relied on our raw strength and unity to get things done. We believed in helping each other, and it wasn't uncommon to see friends, in-laws, and age grades lending a hand.

Money was scarce, and we had to work hard to earn it. Sometimes we would work for someone who could not pay us money, but they would offer us farm produce instead. I still remember the times when my riches were counted by the number of yam bans I had.

We did not work all year round; we had time for work and time for leisure. After we were done with farm work, we would rest and wait for the harvest. During those times, the women would make beautiful mats and baskets to sell, and men would spend time with their families.

Food was fresh, affordable, and healthy. We ate vegetables, fresh fish, and bush meat, and drank undiluted palm wine. We were healthy and did not suffer from the diseases that plague us now.

Everything was safe, and there was no fear of humans or spirits. If we left something by the roadside, it would remain there until we came to pick it up. Life was simple, yet fulfilling.

My son, my grandfather said, "Do whatever you do with all your heart and be the best you can be. Focus on solving people's problems, and the money will follow. Upgrade your skills and knowledge, and always stay ahead of the curve."

I couldn't help but be amazed by my grandfather's tales of a simpler life, where nature and humans coexisted in perfect harmony.......................................

Our forefathers set an example of hard work, self-reliance, teamwork, and unity that we must emulate.

They did not have the luxuries of modern life but they were contented, and we must learn to be contented too. Our present generation has the potential to live a better life if we can learn to love and cherish each other.

It is time we stop depending on external forces and start taking responsibility for our own lives. Let us join hands and help one another, just like our forefathers did.

This is the only way we can grow and put an end to insecurity and other vices that plague our society today.

Shalom ❤️

My first time of falling in love

On my first day in my new school, I was very happy to meet new friends but at the same time sad to leave my old friends, who were like my siblings.

My journey with Isabell, Ella as I mostly call her, was like a chemical mixed in heaven. As a new student I came early and sat on first row, but was caught in awe, by the beauty of a young goddess sitting at the edge.

She was slender, tall, her hair was a rich shade like blossoming flowers, glowing silky skin and a bright green eyes, she seems a picture of perfection.

When our eyes met, my brain turned blank, the world ceases to exist as clock quites to tick, the feelings were strange, something I can't explaine, she looked familiar but I couldn't remember where I have seen her before. That was in final year in secondary School.

Ella felt same,as her body was filled with goose bump, we starred at each other for a long time.I followed after her, during break period but met her in group of her friends. As naive as I was then, meeting a girl was not that easy, not to talk of group of girls.

All my efforts that day were in vain,I went home deep in thought, on what to do to quench the fire consuming me. I thought of writing a letter, but it would be odd, if people find out, especially as a new comer.

Fate sometimes makes a good deal, we were in same group during practical the next day. I didn't hesitate to tell her my mind. She stood silently, starring at me with a mixture of curiosity and wonderment, without a word.

Many times we walked home together after school, weekends were our worst enemy, because we didn't see nor have phone to communicate, our major means of communication was writing. She turned out to be my best friend and reading mate.

On one occasion, my parents travelled and I invited her to our house, Ella was a good cook, we cooked coconut rice and made salad, the memory still lingers in me like yesterday.

We have been to many outings together, mostly ice cream stores, vanilla was her favorite, and have gathered many sands in pinics.

Although, we haven't spent a night together but had made many plans about our future, starting from carrier, where I desired to be a medical doctor, in order to save lives. And she chose law, because of her passion to fight injustice in the society. Our plans covered ways we can save money and our undisputed plan of been together for ever.

She can not withstand seeing me in pain, and would do anything to make me comfortable. I'm very thankful for her being my first love because she had shown me how to love and made me understood that unconditional love is possible.

I know nothing last for ever but didn't expect our relationship to be that short. After our senior secondary exams. I went to their house, but received the news that Ella was no longer staying with her people, although she told earlier that she was not living with her immediate family but I didn't know she was a total stranger with no traces.

I have searched the whole world looking for her but no where to be found.

Please,if you see my Ella tell her that I'm still single and alone........................................

Love is a beautiful thing, build a healthy relationship and grow each other.

Happy Sunday fam ❤️

EAGLE

What can we learn from eagles

Eagles fearlessly soar through the skies, reaching great heights with confidence. They remind us to have the courage to pursue our dreams and goals without hesitating or being held back by fear.

Eagles have exceptional eyesight, enabling them to spot prey from incredible distances. They teach us the importance of having a clear vision and staying focused on our objectives.

Eagles are known for their resilience and ability to adapt to various environments and build their nests on high cliffs. They teach us the importance of being resilient in the face of challenges and finding ways to adapt to different situations.

Eagles are known for their independent nature. They hunt and survive on their own, relying on their skills rather than depending on others. From them, we learn the value of self-reliance and taking responsibility for our own well-being and success.

Eagles are also known for their incredible displays of unity during mating and defense of their territory. They remind us of the power and beauty that can arise when individuals come together for a common purpose.

These lessons from eagles can inspire us to approach life with strength, determination, and a sense of purpose, encouraging us to embrace challenges and strive for greatness.

Have a blessed day ♥️
