Use this blueprint to decode your emotions ⬇️⬇️
Picture this… you get triggered talking to a loved one. Your whole body starts to fill with an emotion maybe rage, anger or frustration. You know you’re upset but you keep suppressing how you really feel with cold messages, shutting down or procrastinating. What’s really happening here??
You are not COMMUNICATING YOUR NEEDS!!
So let’s try again, this time using the blueprint to navigate what’s really going on inside of you. Emotions are not bad, and it’s powerful to feel into what’s real for you.
Step 1 - What is the emotion? Name it. I am feeling _____
Step 2 - What options can you create for yourself? Do you need to walk away, breathe, pray, cry, meditate, scream?? Create three healthy options for yourself to move the emotion in your body
Step 3 - Choose one of the options and yes you guessed it, take massive action
Step 4 - What do you need to do to release your emotion? Allow what is coming up to be experienced, and find what is really underneath it all.
Step 5 - What do you need now to communicate your needs? How you express this in a loving and healthy way so that you feel heard and seen?
Between me and you.. I’m learning how to do this every single day which is slowly allowing me to express even more of my truth. I don’t always like having difficult conversations but I’m practicing it more than ever.
