Amber Hutchens

2024 Ms. Curvy Plus Universal Global USA

Amber, a proud single mom to three handsome boys, is a born native to the gorgeous mountains of SouthWest Virginia. She recalls building her leadership and poise skills at a young age of 5 by competing at her local pagents. She continued to enhance these transferable skills to all aspects of life and lead as captain of her volleyball, basketball, and cheerleadering squads as well as student body president. Graduating with a 4.0 and advanced diploma she continued her education on at Wytheville Community College where she then graduated as Phi Beta Kappa with an Associates in Literature and Science. She continued as a junior at Virginia Tech in Pre-med and is currently working on finishing her Bachelors Degree. Amber also holds a dental assistant certification and has just recently finished her real estate class and will be preparing for her state boards.

Over the last 37 years Amber has held numerous titles ranging from Ms. Woman Virginia United States 2016, Ms. Heart of the Carolinas 2016, Curvy Ms. West Virginia 2022, Elegant Ms Carroll County Agricultural Fair 2024, and most recently representing Virginia at the national pageant in Orlando, Fl and capturing the national title of Ms Curvy Plus Universal Global USA.

I spent all last week stocking all of the blessing boxes and helping those less fortunate prepare for the winter. It was estmated to get down -1° last night with winds as high as 60mph. These blessing boxes are fast and effective ways for those in need to get immediate access to goods. We stock them with food, clothes, gloves, and hygiene products. Free to anyone in need. On Veteran's Day I had the pleasure of serving over 109 free meals to those who have done so much for our country. Thank you to all the veterans and their families for all their sacrifices! I personally love my freedom!!! I've been blessed to work for such a giving employer who offered all veterans anything they would like to eat or drink for free. The amount of generosity along with the outpour of appreciation was indescribable. I'm blessed and grateful!!! I'm blessed with the best family! My aunt and cousins made a delicious lunch and I was able to go drop it off to the local Bland V-dot workers Sunday. If you see lineman, vdot workers or first responders please be kind, they're on day 11 of no sleep, tired, haven't seem their loved ones, and probably rare hot meals. A snack, a cold drink, and a thank you goes a long ways!!!! Miss Universal Global Pageant
