I had a Great time today helping out with the Black Surfing Association in Rockaway Beach. A good organization run by Lou Harris to give kids from the city access to surfing and swimming when they otherwise might never get a chance. Check out his Instagram page @ Black_Surfing_Association

Great shoot today in Newark with mural artist Malcolm Rolling whose ancestors were part of the Great Migration. The mural shown here on Essex St. was commissioned by Audible and was a collaboration with artist Hans Lundy.

We had a beautiful shoot on Friday at the Lawrenceville School Bunn Library with Dr Walter D. Greason. His description of the Great Migration and the racism that followed was powerful. The story we are telling here in Part 3 is not only about the Great Migration but also the racism and the racial injustices in healthcare that still exist today.
