Great shoot today in Newark with mural artist Malcolm Rolling whose ancestors were part of the Great Migration. The mural shown here on Essex St. was commissioned by Audible and was a collaboration with artist Hans Lundy.

We had a beautiful shoot on Friday at the Lawrenceville School Bunn Library with Dr Walter D. Greason. His description of the Great Migration and the racism that followed was powerful. The story we are telling here in Part 3 is not only about the Great Migration but also the racism and the racial injustices in healthcare that still exist today. The Kenney sisters shoot in NYC and Tuskegee. They are the granddaughters of Dr. John A. Kenney who started the first AA hospital in Newark and Alabama. He was also the personal physician for Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver.
