It dawned on me tonight my why for continuing to do this season after season, even as Harper is outgrowing. It allows me to combine my love for shopping and playtime with kiddos. It truly lights me up to see little girls having SO much fun playing and twirling in fun comfy clothes that feel good! You don’t realize how much you miss the classroom until you stand in front of those captivated little faces and see them smiling back at you. 🦊 🧡

There are so many ways you can host a pop up. One of my favorites is more low key and I’m not even there! I drop the clothes off to you and you invite a few moms and daughters over to play dress up and snap a few fashion show photos. No cleaning your house or providing a bunch of snacks (unless you want to) 🦊

“My daughter won’t wear it anymore..” Listen, I’m right there with you sister. But one thing I’ve realized recently, it’s not she won’t wear it, she just wants it to be her idea. She wants to pick it out. Bring her with you to try on and just let her look. In person shopping isn’t as common as it was back in our day. There’s something about seeing the bright colors, touching the textures and feeling the softness that sparks an indescribable joy! ✨

✨ Hello! Some of y’all are new around here so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I’m Leslie! Former Matilda Jane Ju**ie of 15 years. I bought my first pair of ruffles in 2008 but didn’t have a daughter to dress up in MJ until 2013. When Harper was born I realized real quick that I couldn’t afford my hobby. 🤣 So..I started hosting shows at my small business, Bella Salon & Spa. Fast forward a couple of years and I drank the kool-aide and became a full fledged trunk keeper. I LOVE the magic of watching little girls twirl in adorable comfortable clothing. The joy they have on their face is priceless. (Even though Harper pretends she doesn’t enjoy it, I still see her smile when she’s wearing MJ. Or when she sees another little girl wearing an outfit she’s had. I see the joy that brings her too 😉) As we all know, Matilda Jane went bankrupt 2 weeks before Christmas in 2022 and eventually sold their customer base and patent to Cheeky Plum. Many of the OG founders of MJ have spent the last 8 months partnering with Cabi and have just launched Finding Foxtale this past week. I am honored and SO excited to be one of the first Foxtale stylists and can’t wait to share this experience with more kiddos this fall. 🦊
