Raymond Igbalode Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi was arraigned before the court in USA on Friday July 3, 2020.

The USA Department of Justice has charged with Conspiring to Launder Hundreds of Millions of Dollars from Cybercrime Schemes.

One of the charges on the charge sheet has to do with an attempt he and his gang made to steal £100 million from an English Premier League club.

“Abbas and others further conspired to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from other fraudulent schemes and computer intrusions, including one scheme to steal £100 million (approximately $124 million) from an English Premier League soccer club, the complaint alleges.”

A promising young man of the National Democratic Congress and a student of University of Mines and Technology,Hafiz Raman, President of the Tertiary Educational Institutions Network (TEIN),UMaT branch.

Hafiz Raman,as a responsible citizen of Ghana took his way through the Dunkwa-Obuasi road returning to his constituency on Monday to partake in the Voter's registration exercise and was involved in an accident.

Raman has been buried in accordance with the Islamic religious rites,Raman was a final year student of the above named institution offering Environmental Safety Engineering.

The NDC has expressed it's condolences to the family of the deceased in a Facebook post:

"Sad to announce the death of Comrade Hafiz Raman, UMaT TEIN president who was involved in an accident on the Dunkwa-Obuasi road on Monday. He was on his way to his constituency to register for the new voter's card. He has since been buried according to Islamic religious rites. The late Hafiz was a final year student of Environmental and Safety Engineering. The NDC has lost a promising young man, TEIN UMaT has been left with a big void. May Allah grant him Jannah. Our thoughts/prayers are with his family and love once."

The NDC has expressed sadness over the shock and will gain composure as time goes.
