Doug and Ed Porter are brothers that have been performing, recording, and releasing music since the mid-1990s. In 2013, they started Deporter Records to give all of their previous and new projects a home. Having been involved in the underground confines of the most eclectic and extreme pockets of the Maine music scene, they have dabbled in various categories and genres (rock n roll, heavy metal, p

unk rock, experimental, lo-fi, avant-garde, progressive, acoustic, and post rock) and want the company to be seen as an artist friendly label run with a lot of integrity, but little promotional or production costs. It should simply be a place for the bands they like to put out music they want, without restriction.
