Spent the weekend doing some tool maintenance and cleanup. But the best part was finally adding a sliding dovetail grid in my assembly table!! I’ve been wanting to do this for some time to help with clamping boards and cabinet pieces. Hopefully this will improve my time and efficiency in the workshop. 🤞🏼🤷🏻‍♂️😊

My final project of 2023!
My wife asked me to make her a makeup mirror stand and gave me free rein on the design 😊. I had some solid mahogany panels that were gifted to me so I figured they would be perfect for this little stand.
I ended up creating a shelf and a small drawer for her to put items inside. The best part was making the drawer pull from a bronze sleeve and inserted a mahogany wood dowel to finish it off.
I think was a perfect ending to 2023, and my wife can’t wait to use it.

Had a request to do a custom edge profile for a wall mounted coat rack. Instead of trying to find a new bit that might not work, I had a little fun and was able to get the exact look the client wanted by using three different bits on my router table. I have to say the precision of their router lift and fence was key in getting everything just right!

DELIVERY DAY!!! The liquor display cabinet dubbed “The Pharmacy” has been delivered and installed. Everything fits perfectly and sits nicely in the corner of the great hall of Flâneur Manor. Woodworking is one thing. Finish carpentry is another and I tend to shy away from it.
These are the progress shots from start to finish on replacing the trim work for our kitchen window. This window had some severe water damage that has been slowly happening over 20 years. It’s on the side of the house that I hardly ever go on, let alone inspect for any reason, but once I saw what was happening I had to fix it.
It needs a final coat of paint but all in all I think it turned out pretty good.

I did a TV upgrade in my living room, so I took this old one and mounted it to the shop wall 😊. I used french cleats to secure it and found a decent sound bar at Goodwill for $10! Connected it all to an Apple TV and bob’s your uncle!
If you spend time in your shop, or any space you do your hobbies, it’s always good to make it a comfortable place to be in.

Got the chance to get all the individual pieces stacked up on this kegerator/liquor storage cabinet, just to get an idea of scale. This sucker is almost 8ft tall 😲. Delivered the first of two back wall storage cabinets this weekend. This will be a great addition to the existing bar in the clients home. I received these beautiful coffee table legs from the other day, but little do they know they will be flipped upside down and used as shelf supports for my clients liquor display cabinet. 😊
Originally I planned to use iron pipe with fittings, but found out none of them were 90 degrees 😡. It would have been painfully difficult to make this piece look as I had designed, so after a little brainstorming these table legs were the right fit and I think looks better than the original. Thanks Osbourne!!

Made a quick little drawer for small rulers, pencils, etc. in the fence tube of my PCS.
I’ve seen many other makers do something similar and some even 3D print them. It’s a great place to store stuff and now I have everything a my finger tips as long as I remember it’s there. 😊 🥴😀

Ladies and gentlemen I am proud to present to you the SawStop PCS31230 Professional Cabinet Saw. This baby has a 3hp motor, full cast iron table top with 36” rip capacity, integrated router table, hydraulic mobile base, and overarm dust collection. It’s so pretty I almost don’t want to use it…almost. 😊 This will definitely be taking my woodworking to the next level!

Do you remote from home? Shouldn’t your workspace be a place you enjoy spending time in? Since I’m not an online superstar I still have a regular job, but I’m fortunate enough to be able to remote most of the week. My wife and I wanted to renovate our office. The goal was to do it quickly and have it be affordable. After crunching some numbers I decided the best route was to use stock IKEA cabinets, butcher block countertops and custom wood pieces to bring this space together. Let me know what you think?
