My name was given to me on this day(in accordance to yoruba tradition a child is named 7days after birth)... which also happens to be my mom's birthday as I was born a week before her birthday.

This is the first one I'm spending without her and it's really strange. But I know she's in a good place. Smiling down and fighting for us as she always does.

I truly miss her. I just pretend like I haven't spoken to her in a while... would give anything to tell her Happy birthday. 💔💔💔

I do not like putting these type of things up at all! but I started radio, looking and listening to Dan. Getting knowledge from what he had also taught people like I remember a whole month of you in Abuja coolfm, I worked there but I would wake up to listen to you handle that morning show like clockwork! Even years after I would still listen to your shows on Sunday mornings just to see how you handle callers, pronounce properly just so I could do same. Your voice still rings in my head saying "Lai Lai". Radio will Never be the same without you.

Shes there for everyone, your mother's birthday, sisters wedding, name it! She will be there! No time for BS, she will give it to you straight to your face! always in my corner.
