‘Meet me under the clocks’ - Undoubtedly the most popular meeting place in the city, “I’ll meet you under the clocks” is a saying that has been used by generations  of Melbournanians.

Flinders street - one of the most iconic landmarks in Melbourne. It’s a pretty busy place and featured constantly on postcards, and is probably the most photographed building in the city.📸

Interesting fact: It was the first steam rail station in Australia. With thousands of people gathering at the track to see the first public steam train.🚂

Our first day in Bali involved sorting things like SIM cards, exchanging money and shopping. Living among the locals and not in resorts, is a totally different way of experiencing Bali.

Having to do all these things in an unfamiliar country, where people's English is not the best, took us out of our comfort zone. However, Balinese people are very nice and helpful, and thanks to translating apps we've managed to communicate with some people. ❤️

After battling with the heat and humidity, and not being familiar with the local cuisine, we've managed to power through the first day.

We know that traveling sounds like all fun and games. And although it might not look like it, but it can get exhausting from time to time, so we do need a vacation here and there😄

And when it comes to Bali, there are so many places, like Ubud and the nearby areas where you can enjoy a so-called experience stay. We really wanted a place with a pool, to relax after a hard week of work and we found this place

Mornings on rice terraces in Bali 🌄Such a romantic spot! 🥰

As kids we loved going on a swing, so why not connect with our childish side and have fun now too? …This is a cool upgrade thou, in case you want to take a nap in the middle of the day 😄😄

We enjoyed our time here and spending some moments together🥰 but the reality is that Lavi was getting motion sickness after a bit of time on that swing😄 The struggle was real 😄😵‍💫😵‍💫

For us, home is a place that we are excited to get to, a place that brings us joy when we think about it, a place that offers us that cozy, comfortable and safe feeling. And it's also about people and the moments you share with them.

On this trip we are learning that traveling like this and not having that shared space to call home, can bring it's own challenges.

We do miss everyone, we do think sometimes how it would be if we were already in that place … but then we do love it being on the road and seeing the world, and experiencing things that we've never seen before, and learning about the world and about ourselves.🌎🌍

So when it comes to how much we've spent … well, we've put below a few costs from our days out so you can get a better idea😃

If you are planning to visit, plan it in such a way so you get good weather. The scenery will be more beautiful and you could really appreciate what this place has to offer when it’s sunny.

There are places for each taste:
🔹Sandy beacheas
🔹Amazing coastal look-outs
🔹Hills and trails
🔹Forests and national parks
🔹Sequoia woods
🔹Waterfalls
🔹Unique attractions
🔹Sealife spotting

Offering such a wide variety of things to do and see, spending just a few days will not be enough to really take it in. So we would suggest spending around a week in this area.

Also, some things, like sealife spotting, is better to do during winter time. The only downside to this is that the other attractions might not be as great looking as in the summer time.

Definitely an iconic place in Australia for your bucket list.

Planted as an experimental forest, back in 1936, the RedWoods of the Otway Ranges are a natural beauty, a place with history and significance.

We’ve never seen Sequoia trees and we were really impressed by their grandiosity 🤩
As soon as we got inside the forest, it seemed like the time slowed down and nothing seemed to be rushed. We felt an immediate sense of calmness and peace, sort of like being under a spell, a good one though 😅

We even started talking quietly so we would not disturb the forest, as if it could hear us 😂
In our opinion, it’s an magical place that should be respected when visited.

We planned to do an experience related to gold mining since we were in Romania and got really excited when we got there 😂

As we are big fans of the Gold Mining TV shows this was a must-visit for us.
You can see from the pictures how thrilled Ovi is to be here 🤩

There is even a hotel in the middle of the museum 🤯

The price per person was 49 AUD (£28, €31.5, 155 Lei). It may sound a bit pricey but it’s definitely worth it as you can have so much fun and loads of things to do.

Our first thought about Australia was that it’s really hot and arid. We couldn’t be more wrong, as this place has so much greenery.

Noticing how developed Australia is, it offers so many options for a day out, and we choose to go for cherry picking 🍒😍

You are allowed to eat as many cherries as you could for free, not just pick them 😂 If you want to bring some home, the price would be 14 AUD (£8) per kg.

It is a cheap experience, paying only 22.60 AUD (£13) for both of us 🤯

The one with architecture and exploring. From detailed demon statues to majestic gates. These out of this worlds gates are considered to be sacred in Balinese culture.

Interesting fact: The gates act as portals that connect the physical world and the spiritual realm (gods and spirits); the living and the dead (ancestors).

The sentiment that these photos give us is the hardship and beauty of Bali.

Bali, the first the place in South East Asia for us 🥰

Since our arrival, almost two days ago, we've been through different emotional states, a true cultural shock.

Taking the less busy, but still circulated streets can lead to very authentic places here in Bali, also even cheaper and delicious meals.

Places that shocked us, but also moved our hearts by the kindness of local people❤️🥹

Since we've started our travels almost 3 months ago, we are still dealing with creating and sticking to a schedule/routine.

We are starting to find out how much it goes into being a digital nomad. It's not all travels and fun, like you see on Instagram. Between working online, visiting places, doing the daily chores, working out, editing/creating content and all that it implies, we are struggling to find a rhythm.

We believe that the key is to not give up, continue discovering things that work for you. That's what we are doing currently, so we'll keep exploring.

Have you ever been on a caravan trip? 🚐🗺️

Well, we'll tell you… It is a lot of fun🤩 but do expect hiccups and high expenses 😄

Being our first caravan trip we had no idea what to expect😄
Seeing Australia's remote and beautiful places, whilst travelling and sharing that small space with our friends and their kids have made this such a unique experience.🙌😍
We are so lucky our friends have created this opportunity for us.🥰🍀🇦🇺

If you ever get the chance to do this at least once in your life, go for it! We think that that was the best way to see so much of South Australia in such a short period of time 🙌

After around 65 hours/ 5.500km on the road (in two weeks) 🚐🤯, ~£800 spent on food and activities and thousands on fuel💸, we have learnt so much about Australia, about what to do in future trips, that the red dirt from the outback messes up your clothes and more 😄😄😄

Kangaroo Island - Photo dump - Btw, have you heard about this place?

Kangaroo Island - a magical place with loads of things to explore ❤️
Fun fact: it has over 2 milion sheep and just over 4250 people 😂

One of the most authentic places in Australia.
If you love pristine untouched nature and wildlife, you'll love it here! 🏞️

Oh yes, and soo many wild Kangaroos 🦘(tip: a good place to spot them is Hog Bay Road, around Prospect Hill)

Have you ever seen a koala up close?🐨🌳

Spent half a day on a relaxing walk, whilst feeding and playing with wildlife and farm animals.

For $16AUD (+$2AUD for animal food) you could be feeding kangaroos, emus, ostriches, birds and horses off your hand.

P.S. Be careful careful with Emus and Ostriches. They are quite keen to grab the food 😂

Do you know any beaches in Europe where you can take your 4x4 car on? Leave the destination in the comments ⬇️

We discovered this place, and realised that it is quite common to take your 4WD/4x4 on the beach.

This place is the perfect spot to sunbathe, walk and relax in the shallow waters. And there is a place for everyone. So, you can bring your dog, cat and cow 😂, there's still going to be plenty of space❤️

We've seen jelly-like things and we found out that this are actually eggs laid by moon snails 🤯😮(Ovi calls them curly sausages)😂

P.S. If you feel like squishing them, remember that you are actually squishing tiny moon snails😟

Ever wondered how it is to float on water? 🧘

We did and the experience was amazing 😍

Driving through remote Australia can sometimes be tiring and finding a place like this can give you the much needed relaxation you were looking for 😌❤️

Tip: If you decide to cross the lake on the water trail, be careful at the other end how you get out through the bushes and a bit of mud (my sandals got stuck for a bit🤭)
