Day 1 of the snow storm here in the Netherlands đ
Zwiftin'! It's been a while, but feels good to be on the bike again. Couldn't find the discipline and motivation to exercise. How do you stay motivated to grab the bike during the winter months?
One of those days. Longest ride on so far? I believe so! Do you use Zwift for rainy, windy.. Just terrible days in general? Or do you ride outside only? @ Utrecht, Netherlands
Happy holidays! Itâs been a weird year and hopefully next year will be a better one with less knee pain and more cycling! đđžđĽ @ Utrecht, Netherlands
When that has got you feeling like an 80s montage. Full video link in comments.
Made a video last week on my birthday and finally found time to edit it. Bought some new pieces of kit for the colder days in the Netherlands. Love my new .cc kit and the bibs are the best thing I wore in.. well, ever!

Just came back from a relaxing weekend with some beautiful weather. Hereâs a little glimpse. The Veluwe is a lovely area for cycling, probably one of my favorite places in the Netherlands to be. Love the peace and quiet. @ Landal Rabbit Hill
Easy spin today. Finally felt like taking my camera with me again. Even though it is over 30C đ @ Utrecht, Netherlands
I really enjoy testing the bikes that built đ¤
Itâs been about a year since I started cycling. Obviously you try to set up your bike as comfortably as possible, but without the knowledge it is pretty hard to find the right balance. When my knee started hurting, more than usual, I called for an appointment. So today I went to where Anno has his bike fitting studio. After an intake conversation and mobility check, I started paddling. We made some pretty big adjustments to my posture, with the most significant one being my saddle height (up 2,5-3 cm lol) and a new saddle. Now there is more stability and the saddle pressure is equally distributed. Such a fun and informative day. Thanks Anno! @ Allizi Bikes
This is my happy face. Why? Iâll show you in my brand new video on Youtube! Check out the link in my bio for the full video. Please like and subscribe while youâre at it. :-)
Happy world bicycle day! Are you celebrating?!

This photo was taken last week, when I was cycling to âde Veluweâ for a mid-week vacation. Will post a vlog about it this week. Loved it so much, canât wait to go back there and do some longer rides.
Working on something cool with ... Canât say anyhing about it yet, so here is a glimpse of my Koga (Miyata) Senko/full pro track prototype frame. Itâs also a hint of things to come đ
After the ride today, chilling in the sun! Couldnât keep a steady pace because the roads and cycleways were flooded with people. Hopefully people are still sane enough keep a safe distance!
What is it with smooth transition b roll footage that makes it so appealing? Not only to look at, but also to film and edit. Gives me so much more inspiration to make new videos, so be on the lookout for more of that soon!
Full video in the comments (it does contain a lot of talking, but also some more b roll!)
Iâve been thinking about doing a video of my quarantine story. So I did. It is up on Youtube, so check the link in my bio to check it out! Thereâs also some cool B-roll footage in there, so please enjoy. Itâs the story about getting sick in a time when the virus âdidnât hitâ the Netherlands yet. In hindsight, it probably already was here, but weâll never know because tests are not a thing in this country unless you work with people who are (potentially) sick. Anyway, let me know what you think of the video!

So I haven't been making any content even though I was more inspired than ever. This is my (short) quarantine story. Oh yeah, also B-roll. Enjoy! Subscribe t...
It was a beautiful evening to go for a post-work fixie ride! Still donât have all the parts to transform this one to more of a freestyle fixed gear look, but it will definitely be happening soon! Also I have been trying out the Prizm Road lens by Oakley and my-oh-my, I love it so much. Thought the look would be just cool underneath a helmet, but digging this look as well đ

Well and it is some kind of a bridge.. Will look for something better on my next ride!
It was an easy early morning spin this morning before work. No hard efforts, just enjoying the weather and the calm, because the roads were quiet for a change!
Iâve been waiting so long for this little patch! When I started cycling more seriously in August of 2019, this was a goal I could only accomplish in my dreams to be quite honest with you. Being the lazy couch potato I was, I probably did about 1-2, 15-20km rides max a week. Going from that to 500km in one week, even in hindsight, seems pretty crazy but I did it! And I am super-duper proud of myself.
This morning I did my first (Zwift) race, which was one of my dreams when I started riding more seriously. Obviously this is so much harder, so I need to practice more to even be able to think about doing a real life race, or ending top 10 in Zwift. But I will keep going!
Do you have any training goals during this pandemic situation? I know it is still uncertain if there will even be races or rides this year, but I am very curious to hear your best case scenario training goals!
Last week was a short kit kinda week. Next week will be a Zwift kinda week.. đ
Did the same loop as I did yesterday. Also SHORT SLEEVES AND SHORTS! Loads of âDutch mountainsâ but the temperature definitely made up for it. Saw loads of people in groups bigger than 3 people with no distance between them. Hopefully we wonât be getting a second peak!
Finally back on the bike!
This morning I set the alarm extra early to enjoy the lovely weather before working from the home office. It had been a while because I got sick about 6 weeks ago and felt s**t the weeks after. Honestly, this is the first week I feel like cycling again. So I did. Great start of the day! I also know I am very lucky to still be riding outside with all the terrible stuff going on in the world right now. What are your rides like now? Are you riding inside or are you still able to ride outdoors?
Grocery shopping. When the girlfriend Wants to buy flowers, you get innovative. Should probably become a bike messenger. đ¸
Itâs been a while since I used this bike. The funny thing about this quarantine thing is that you want to do stuff you havenât done in a long time. Probably because of boredom, but nonetheless a weird phenomenon.
Anyway, I ordered some parts to turn this into a freestyle bike and use another one for the longer rides and race-style training (maybe even some track riding next winter?). Canât wait to go back outside.
This is the fourth week I work from home and that I am in quarantine. The first week I was very ill and had a fever, started coughing and felt fatigued. The fever is gone and most of the coughing, but a proper Zwift session isnât really among the possibilities yet. It feels as if my body still has to recover from being sick. Doc didnât want to test me for the virus, but I think he was wrong for not checking me. Ah well.. Stay safe people!
Stay at home. Write music. Release music? Got some cool ideas, so maybe. That is all.
Wanted to ride outside today, but I still feel a little under the weather. So with the whole crisis going on, this is what I came up with. đ
