As soon as porcini mushrooms were not called before - cow, feather grass, baby, belevik, expensive mushroom, cowshed, pan, konovyash ... He actually has several dozen names, depending on the people who came up with this name. And there are many different peoples in Russia.
Like people, porcini mushrooms sunbathe in the sun. If they grow in a place where sunlight regularly hits, their hat will be dark brown, and if they grow in the shade, it will remain light.
It makes little sense to go looking for mushrooms in the same places every day, since they grow relatively slowly. In the case of the porcini mushroom, the growth rate can be called average; under favorable conditions, it can grow by 10-12 cm per week.
No one grows porcini mushrooms on an industrial scale, because it is economically unprofitable, but you can set up a mushroom farm on your site. True, it will take a lot of space, on average, from ten standard acres, you can collect only up to 5 to 25 kg of crop per season.
A record-breaking white mushroom was found by Russian mushroom pickers, it weighed a little less than 10 kilograms, and its cap diameter was 58 cm. In general, this is a rarity, usually the largest specimens have a hat up to 20-30 cm in diameter, and weigh less than a kilogram.
