LARGEST GROUP SO FAR OF ASIA BREWERY TRAINEES WERE AMONG THE RECENT GRADUATES

Last graduation, 8 trainees from Asia Brewery Incorporated (ABI) received their diploma in Electromechanics Technology. Company representatives were present to witness the milestone of these trainees, one of whom is also the batch representative. These students came from various provinces such as from Bohol, Occidental Mindoro, Cagayan, and Capiz, and many of them were absorbed by the beverage and industrial packaging giant when their training ended.

DILG-ANTIQUE, MAY PAHANUMDOM SA NEWLY ELECTED BARANGAY AND SK OFFICIALS NGA MAGAPUNGKO SA PWESTO

Matapos ang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023, nagpahanumdon ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Antique, sa mga newly elected officials antes sanda magpungko sa pwesto.

Sa interview kang Radyo Bandera Sweet FM San Jose kay DILG-Antique Provincial Director Ace Azarcon ana ginpahayag nga wara kang “definite” ukon husto nga petsa ang pagpungko sa pwesto kang mga newly elected official apang “immediately” ukon gilayon nga makapungko ang mga dya matapos nga sanda ang gin-elect, nag-qualify, kag nag-take oath.

Sa bahin naman kang Sangguniang Kabataan kinahanglan nga sanda ang magpaidalom sa mandatory training antes ang deadline sa Nobyembre 14.

Ginpahayag man kang opisyal nga tatlo (3) ka semana matapos ginproklamar ang sang ka kandidato, kag base sa DILG Memorandum Circular 2023-166, kinahanglan kadya kumpletuhon ang “transition period” sa diin gina-turn over ang mga dokumento, equipment, financial resources kag iban pa.

Pagklaro pa kang opisyal, nga sa sulod ukon antes ang “transition period” sarang ron makapungko sa pwesto ang ginpili kag nagdaug nga mga kandidato.

Oftentimes, you put no value to acts not worth for the pleasure of the eyes nor fit for any satisfying praise. It may be beyond your consciousness but God sees every little good thing that you do. It may escape the knowledge of your onlookers but it comes big for God's elation. Sometimes, you may not feel motivated of continuing a small accomplishment as it won't matter of how others would appreciate it, but it matters with God. He sees not the bulk of your success but focuses more in your desire to do something good no matter how small or slow the process it would take. It's the pace he has designed for you. It creates your humility to accept that you've got nothing to boast of but that which pleases God in every good simple aspiration that you're capable of. It is in this humility that your being poor will let you become rich, and being weak that you'll become strong. Not all grass is greener on the bigger side.

5.1 magnitude earthquake jolts southern part of Antique

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology recorded four earthquakes with an epicenter at the Municipality of Anini-y, earlier today.

The said tremors started at around 12:13 this afternoon and the latest was recorded at 12:30 PM. The strongest happened at around 12:25 PM with a magnitude of 5.1.

According to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Manangement Officer Broderick Train, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Anini-y reported zero casualties and is doing on-going monitoring activities.

"Ongoing gyapon man ang assessment kang MDRRMO Anini-y kay may close coordination kita kananda. Likewise aton man nga pag monitor sa anang after shock kay base sa PHIVOLCS nga may possibility nga may aftershock man", Train said.

He added that Antiqueños should be vigilant in times of calamities and to contact their MDRRMOs for quick response.

Anini-y also experienced tremors thrice last August 9, 2022 with 4.7 magnitude as the strongest. (PIO NONESCO)
