It's MONDAYtory Coffee at xempre dapat itry ung bagong Coffee Shop sa De Castro!

Yow, mga ka-Lucians! Merong newly opened coffee shop in De Castro, natry nyo na ba?
Ang sweet ng pangalan nila—Sugar Cafe - De Castro Pasig City

We tried their Caramel Macchiato and Salted Caramel, and for the price, it's okay naman, for just ₱59, you can enjoy a large premium coffee, and for non-premium coffee, it's only ₱39 for medium size. If you love sweet coffee, this might just be your new go-to spot.

Pero for me, I prefer yung medyo strong ang coffee kaysa matamis, so baka hindi ito first choice ko. Next time, itatry ko naman yung Hot Matcha Latte nila—alam niyo naman, I love matcha! 😊 🍵

Bakit Matcha Latte ang fave drink ko?

If coffee is life, well, Matcha Latte is lifer!
Ang rich at unique kaya ng lasa nito—earthy at creamy na may tamang tamis ng milk. Sobrang perfect!

Plus, may antioxidants pa ‘to! Nakakatulong sa metabolism at sa focus (kailangan ko ‘to, haha). Pwede mo rin siyang i-enjoy hot or iced. Best part? Pwede mong i-customize ang milk—oat milk, almond milk, or kahit non-fat milk kung gusto mo ng healthier option.

Karamihan sa local coffee shops, oat milk ang gamit, pero sa mga smaller shops, kadalasan full cream. Kung gusto mo mag-request, depende na ‘yun sa trip mo.

Hey Santa Lucians, natry nyo na ba sa Sampalocafe ? We recently tried their Caramel Macchiato and Matcha drink.

Kung mahilig ka sa matamis, baka magustuhan mo 'to. Pero if you're after a stronger caffeine hit, I wouldn't recommend them. Personally, as a matcha lover, it wasn’t for me—it tasted more like a creamy. But, if you're into sweeter drinks, you might enjoy them.

They also offer pastries. Tinry namin ung carrot cake at butterscotch cake but again, the sweetness was quite dominant. I was hoping for a hint of saltiness and buttery flavour in the butterscotch but didn’t quite get that.

Pero syempre, ito lang ang experience ko, baka iba naman sa inyo. Try niyo na and let us know your thoughts sa comments!

I almost forgot, I think you can message them to adjust the sweetness of your drink before proceeding sa orders niyo. So yeah, let’s have a sip and enjoy!

This drink only comes in one size—22oz. Hindi kulang, hindi sobra, dahil saktong sakto. As a matcha lover, I highly recommend this one! 💚

Also, meron din silang ibang flavors na pwedeng-pwede mong pagpilian. Meron ding fruit tea na siguradong magugustuhan ng mga kids nyo. 🍓🍑
