We lost a good one today.

My grandfather Kenneth Baumann passed this morning. A lot of who I am, from my name all the way to my passion for music, is owed to this man. A carpenter, a performer, a veteran, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a man of God, and so much more.

Rest in peace, Grandpa.

He stopped loving her today…

In a few days, we’ll lay Grandpa Harold to rest. A veteran, a police officer, a prolific multi-instrumentalist, a talented self-taught carpenter, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and the epitome of what it means to be a husband. As much as it hurts to let him go, my heart is so full knowing he is reunited with my grandmother, his dear Helen.
