Councilman Carini, We are unsure why you are spreading misinformation on this matter. While we have our disagreements politically, what you’ve said here is factually incorrect. Senator Brooks has NEVER taken part in a vote in the NY Senate on a school mask mandate bill. A hostile amendment was introduced in regards to legislation entirely separate from the mask mandate issue, solely for purposes of political showmanship. We can disagree on the issues, but we can’t disagree on the facts.
