This is a great milestone towards regularization of tenure for the people of Likii settlement through issuance of title deeds for their plots. This will empower the people within this settlement and spur development activities in Nanyuki Municipality. Next in line is regularisation of tenure for seven additional informal settlement schemes in Laikipia County namely Maina, Siberia, African Location, Kanyoni, Umande, kwa Mbuzi and Kalalu under KISIP II World Bank Funded Program which is a collaborative program of the National Government and the County Government of Laikipia.
