If you want to do hard things you need to change the way you think about hard things. Instead of using the phrase, “I have to do something” use the phrase “I get to do something.” Changing the way you look at something will change the motivation behind your performing the action. Every time I fix something around the house I say “I get to learn something new about working with my hands.” This changes the way I think about it and provides a positive motivation in my thinking.

If you are looking to make some extra income I recommend becoming a garage sale reseller or thrift store reseller. It is easy fast cash. Pick an item your interested in or search the best items to resell. Start going to yard sales and thrift stores to look for discounted prices on the product. Putting the cost of your food over the quality of food is backward thinking. How you feel on a daily basis is usually (Not Always) related to what food you put in your body. Part of protecting your family is trying to keep them from things that will harm them. If there is poison in your food then there will be poison in your body, causing health issues in the long run. Protect your family by doing research on what you are putting in your body and making health decisions based on quality and ingredients over merely what is the cheapest option. Obviously there is a balance with your budget, but my question is what can you do without in comparison to your health and the health of your wife and children?

There is no one else to blame for why you aren’t where you want to be. First off God is in control. Second, if you want to be somewhere you are not have you prayed, set a plan to execute, and started the necessary steps to get there? I recommend not making many big changes all at once unless you are stuck in sin. It’s usually not one huge change started immediately that will change your life. It usually begins with many small changes. The only huge change you need to make immediately, is turning to Christ. Then begin on the next necessary small steps to getting to where you want to be.

HOW TO GET INTO A ROUTINE
If you want to repeat an action everyday, set a timer for 2 minutes every day at the time you want to do it. You can do almost anything for 2 minutes. Then in 2 weeks bump the timer up to 5 minutes and continue to increase the time every 2 weeks, until you are at your desired repeatable time. See if you don’t reach your goal.

Is there a location you associate with a certain behavior? For instance when you go to the gym you exercise, when you lay in bed you go to sleep. If you want to eliminate a bad habit reshape your environment and you will increase your chances at not repeating it. If you want to reduce your drinking stop going out to the bar. If you want to eat less ice cream stop going to the store on your way home from work.

Feminism destroys cultures, don’t think so? There is a whole generation of kids being raised and discipled by the State so mom can get ahead in her career and at the end of her life retire with a pension. Her kids on the other hand have been taught that God doesn’t exist, gender is fluid, marriage isn’t sacred, their is no right and wrong, and the cycle just continues in a spiral downward into the society we see perpetrated by the media today. Women need to repent of their selfish pride and men need to repent for their cowardice and failure to lead well.

This may come as a shock to many of you but if there is something you want to stop doing don’t buy it and don’t have it in your house. Changing your environment will greatly increase your chances of success for stopping a bad habit. An example would be if you want to stop drinking soda don’t buy or put it in your house. Turn off your phone at night and and set your Bible on top of it open to the chapter your want to read so you have to read it before you turn on your phone. If that's not enough unplug the coffee maker and put a second bible open in front of it to where you are supposed to read so you can't have your morning coffee until you read it. Put your Bible where you are going to see it most in your house and increase your chances of reading it.

If you have a habit you want to get rid of, try making it very hard to get to. Let's say you want to watch less tv. Unplug the tv and put it in your closets, so that you have to take it out and plug it in every time you want to watch it. Also you won't see it everyday, which means you will have less cues that cause you to want to watch it. I don't put a tv in our bedroom or living room so it makes it harder to watch, plus I don't see it everyday.
