*With the unveiling of Hon. Pam Botmang,* earlier today, as the running mate to Dr Nentawe Yilwada, putting forth a credible and vibrant ticket for the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Plateau State, I can confidently declare that the coast is now clearer for a resounding victory for the APC in the forthcoming polls.

*While I commend our gubernatorial candidate,* Dr. Nentawe Yilwada, for the wisdom in this vibrant choice, let me seize this opportunity to congratulate Hon. Pam Botmang for emerging the most suitable to fly the APC ticket as the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate, among several other ably qualified loyal party members who have indicated interest in the position.

*While we await the official flagging off of electioneering campaign* to traverse the length and breadth of Plateau State to solicit support for your electoral victory, you can be rest assured of our total and unflinching support.

*I commend the leader of our great party in Plateau state,* HE Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong for his fatherly role in piloting affairs in the state and giving the flagbearer the freehand to choose his running mate after due consultation with relevant party stakeholders.

NEW INEC GUIDELINES...
1. The Accreditation is going to be purely, wholly, and totally Electronic. (Section 18 and 19)

2. If the BVAS Technology fails to complete the accreditation of a voter, the voter cannot participate in the Election. (Section 20)

3. If there happen to be a wilful obstruction or resistance to the use of the BVAS Device in some of the polling units, such polling units shall be credited with zero votes during collation. (Section 100-ii)

4. What should now be determining the inconclusiveness of elections is no more the total number of registered voters in the affected polling units, but the total number of PVCs that were collected in the affected polling units.

5. If the number of recorded votes is greater than the number of the Accredited Voters (that is, as recorded inside the BVAS Device), then the Elections in such affected Polling-Units is regarded as voided Elections. (Section 40)

6. If the BVAS Device Continues to malfunction, it should be replaced. And if it wouldn't be replaced within the day of the Election, then the Election in the affected Polling-Unit should be postponed to continue the following day. (Section 23).

7. Even though there is going to be Electronic Collations and Electronic Transmissions (Section 38), there should also be Manual Collations and Manual Transmissions (Section 48) . The Electronically Collated Results would be used to check and verify the manually collated results before they are announced. (Section 51)
Thus, the Electronically Collated Results and the Electronically Transmitted Results from each levels of the electoral process, both voting and collation, as well as all the data that are contained inside the BVAS Device, are all going to be playing very important roles in the final results that are declared by the INEC, from now going forward.

DR. FITKA S. BILSHAKKA CONGRATULATES PLATEAU APC GUBERNOTORIAL/HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY STANDARD BEARERS

Dr. FITKA S. BILSHAKKA congratulated Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe for emerging as APC Standard Bearer in the Gubernotorial Primaries conducted at the Langfield Resort and Event Centre Jos.

Dr Fitka.. while congratulating the winner of the keenly contested election described it as a victory for the Plateau APC family which has again demonstrated its capacity to work together for the good of the party and the State as a whole.

Dr. Fitka said the outcome of the elections should be seen as a collective mandate which will bring members of the party together for the overall success of the APC in the general elections in 2023.

He admonished the standard bearer and other aspirants that were not successful to see it as victory for all as there are no winners or loosers in the exercise which is basically a family affair.

Dr. Fitka, also extended his felicitations to various winners of the APC State House of Assembly primary elections also conducted throughout the State yesterday.

He commended the party officials, delegates, security agencies, media, INEC and all stakeholders for thier roles in ensuring that the process went smoothly.

CONSOLIDATE ON LALONG'S GAINS- APC CHAIRMAN ADVISES GUBER ASPIRANTS

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Plateau State Chapter, Honourable Rufus Bature has admonished gubernatorial aspirants in the state to consolidate on the gains recorded by Governor Simon Bako Lalong in the past seven years.
The Chairman gave the advice at the APC state Secretariat yesterday when Surveyor Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka,a gubernatorial aspirant paid a courtesy visit to the Ewarewah House party secretariat.
The Chairman noted with delight the interest shown by the gubernatorial aspirant who was one of the first to come to the party Secretariat last year to congratulate the party exco on their election to varoius positions.
He observed that Dr Bilshakka has an intimidating credentials which ably qualifies him to contest for the governorship of Plateau state as many who have demonstrated their interest in contesting for the number one seat in the state.
Hon. Rufus Bature also observed that Dr Bilshakka has taken a step ahead of other aspirants by planning to declare his aspiration to a larger audience at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium which the party has given him the go ahead.
Hon Rufus Bature noted that this would apart from exposing the aspirant to the larger audience, it is more importantly a way of galvanising support for the party.
Hon. Rufus Bature stressed that Governor Simon Lalong has achieved a lot for Plateau State which needs someone with the requisite experience and passion to consolidate on the gains of the Rescue Administration.
The Chairman was confident that Plateau State would overcome the ugly incidents which have befallen it in the past such as the series of attacks on unsuspecting communities by bandits and other devil minded people.
The Chairman seized the opportunity to advise aspirants to various positions that what is trending in the social media over the purported time table for primary election and sale of forms are false as the party is yet to come out with its guidelines to that effect.
Earlier, Surveyor Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka has informed the party Chairman that his second visit to the party Secretariat was to intimate the party exco of his planned declaration of his gubernatorial aspiration at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium on Saturday 9th April, 2022.
He said party supporters have already been mobilised from the 17 local government areas to ensure the success of the program.
Dr Fitka said he is convinced that he has gathered sufficient experience as an accomplished professional which gives him the confidence to believe he can take Plateau State to greater heights.
He said when given the opportunity to govern the state, he would do so with great passion and dedication.
Dr Fitka was accompanied on the visit by members of the his Herald Of A New Plateau 2023 campaign organisation which he is the leader.

Dr Steve Bilshakka Set To Declare Intention For Plateau State Governorship Seat On 9th March .

An Aspirant for the 2023 Gubernotorial seat, Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka has disclosed that he would formally declared his intention to aspire for the Plateau State governorship seat on 9th March, 2022 at Rwang Pam Township Stadium and ensured the state achieve meaningful development if given the mandate .

Addressing the delegates at the APC Secretariat on Thursday 7th March 2023,Dr Bilshakka emphasized that his political ideology is not to move with crowd but to developed blueprint that will be acceptable to all Plateau people .

He further add that his aspiration is a divine mandate movement’ while declaring his intention to aspire for the seat of governorship under the platform of APC, Surv Steve Bilshakka said, he has the three qualities which are different from other aspirants,which are capacity, experiences and popularity, that make him stand out amongst the other aspirants.

Stressed he is aware of the fact that the role of governance require someone with credentials that can consolidate on Governor Simon Bako Lalong achievements to reposition the security of the state .

Dr Steve Bilshakka harped more on promoting peaceful coexistence, youth empowerment of women and youths to make the state commercial hubs of the middle belt if given the mandate to actualize this wonderful dream .

He also noted that if elected, he will work assiduously to make sure that he restore back the lost glory of ,”home of peace and tourism “and to strengthen the traditional institution and community participation in security watch dog .

In his response,the Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, Plateau state ,Hon.Rufus Bature commended the aspirant, and said his sacrifices and contribution to the APC are well noted and appreciated.

He welcome Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka that he was the first aspirant to come and congratulate the New Execo of the party when they where elected, we sincerely appreciate him .
According to the Chairmam ,Plateau state would be one of the greatest beneficiary if he is voted into power , he said the array of credible aspirants the APC is portraying has made the party stronger.

At the Orphanage home, *Dr. Fitka* in company of his wife could not help it as they both turned emotional looking at the nature of things at the Orphanage

In his speech at the occasion *Dr. Fitka* explain his reasons for being emotional attributing it to the fact that he and his wife were both orphans. Therefore, he knew what it means

The gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Surv. Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka, warmly congratulates the winners of the Pankshin South by-election, Chief Ezra Dakup of the APC as well as that of Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency Hon Musa Agah of the PDP.

He made this known after INEC declared them winners of the elections.

He expressed joy that the elections went on smoothly devoid of any skirmish and also commended the electorates for their peaceful conduct while thanking INEC for its professionalism in handling the exercise leading to this huge success.
