It’s been a few months since we were posting. Life got too busy for our mama and she had to step away from our account but we are back now. Probably not every day but a few times a week for now.

***Molly Sprinkle UPDATE***

Molly was hit by a truck 🛻 going 50mph 3.5 weeks ago

Her injuries were bad and she almost didn’t make it. We are so beyond grateful that she did and that so many of y’all helped make it possible. From the thoughts, prayers, comments, shares, and $ donations.

Tomorrow will hopefully be the last part in her healing journey. She will be seeing an oral surgeon in Maryland (we are located in Virginia) for her broken jaw. This surgeon is willing to perform the evaluation and if needed the surgery a month sooner than they, or any other facility, had an opening after seeing what all Molly has survived. 🥰

Prayers for Molly Sprinkles tomorrow as we make the trip to the surgeon and see what needs to be done to get Molly back to being able to chew her food and treats! (That’s why she has food on her bitty snoot. We have to liquify all her food)

Molly Sprinkles update!

She had her 10 day post hospital stay check-up at her regular vet.

Dr Ballou said she looks fantastic considering what she went through. 🫶🏻

I will be calling an oral surgeon on Monday morning to get her scheduled to have her broken jaw evaluation done.

We are so very thankful for the care she received at Veterinary Emergency Group in Falls Church and so blessed for everyone that donated to help get her the care she needed. Without those donation's I don't know how it would have been possible.

Update
Molly Made some huge improvements!

Just as the vet was talking about some very serious decisions we would need to make, Molly decided it was time to start getting better instead of continuing on her downward spiral. She was able to come off oxygen yesterday, didn't need the chest tubes placed and came off IV.
She came home this morning and we are managing pain with oral medicine. Her lung bruising is still VERY bad and she still has air in her chest cavity but not so much they need to remove it again. She is very bumped and busied up all over her body. Once her lungs heal more, she will need to go to an oral surgeon to see if she needs her broken jaw to be surgically repaired and likely needs a tooth removed. We are still working on eating, she has very little interest in it. She is on an appetite stimulant which helps right after she gets it.

We want to thank every single person that has shared her story, commented on it and liked across all the platforms. The financial help has been astounding. Seeing that there is so much great in this world warms our hearts.

The care Molly got at Veterinary Emergency Group in Falls Church Virginia was outstanding. Every single person that was on her team day and night was loving, caring and went above and beyond for not only her healthcare but also supporting her emotions.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

You head to the hospital, climb into her cage and sip coffee while holding her 🥰

***Update on Molly Sprinkles. We are seeing some improvements! It looks like she will likely pull though! We still don't know how long she will be here or how things will go for getting her jaw repaired (after she leaves and her lungs are fully healed).

We have some difficult things to say. Molly Sprinkles was injured yesterday. I wrote a but more details about it on her go fund me. I have to use caution as to what I say on Facebook because they are not fans of talking about injuries on here.

We are 24 hours in at about 9k.
