Initiatives of Change Australia have an incredibly deep and healing upcoming program, Turruk, focussed on First Nations cultural intelligence, carefully crafted by Sarah Naarden the trust building manager as part of the First People’s Pathway at IofC.

Turruk is a compelling series of six immersive cultural intelligence workshops hosted by Uncle Shane Charles and First Nations leaders including: N'arweet Carolyn Briggs, Uncle Andrew Gardiner, Alana Marsh, Uncle Glenn Loughrey, Dean Stewart and Jai Allen Wright.

It starts Thursday 28 April 10 - 1pm and held every Thursday for six weeks until 2 June around different themes.

Tickets are available at accessible prices for this series only: $30 / $45 / $60 per session

Participants are invited to experience one, a few or all workshops
All sessions except one are held in-person in the beautiful historical Armagh ballroom, gardens and gallery space at 226 Kooyong Rd Toorak, Melbourne

A beautiful time to connect, honour, listen and learn from courageous men who have shared deeply the teachings of their lives thus far.

Those who joined enjoyed celebrating with amazing food and drink and receiving their goodie bag, with thanks to the charities who contributed.

Our “Brothers in Arms book” was written by men for men. We also invited two other incredible humans to contribute to it. Eugene Wong articulately wrote our foreword and expressed our intention in this creation and Ryan Souza artistically created a graphics that weaves together all the authors, through time and space. We are so honoured to have had their influence and Aloha 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
This book’s message is greater than the words on each page … it’s a recognition of men, women, families, divine masculine, divine feminine.. love, courage, fearlessness, vulnerability, hope, and wisdom .
