👇 Recipe below👇
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
• 1 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon plain greek yogurt
• 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
• 1 jar of Nutella, chilled in refrigerator
• Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
STEPS:
1. Make your brown butter; melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking consistently. The butter will foam and then begin to brown. It will give off a nutty aroma, immediately remove from heat and transfer the butter to a bowl, set aside to cool for a few minutes.
2. While your butter cools, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
3. Add your sugars and cooled butter to the bowl of a mixer and beat with the paddle attachment until well blended. Add the egg, yolk, vanilla and yogurt. Beat until combined.
4. Slowly add your dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) into the mixer and mix until combined.
5. Add your chocolate chips.
6. Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough, flatten it out in your hand and add 1 tsp of Nutella (or peanut butter would be good too!). Form the dough around the Nutella so the Nutella is completely covered in the center. Repeat until all the dough is used.
7. Refrigerate the cookie balls for 2 hours or overnight. (You can put them in the freezer at this point and just have them on hand to bake whenever!)
8. Preheat oven to 350F. Take cookies out of the fridge and let them soften a little so you can flatten them (just a little bit) before baking.
9. Bake for 9-10 minutes and sprinkle with sea salt as soo
