【LAST DAY】 Travel diaries in Taiwan! 🍜🛍️ We decided to explore the trendy Xi Men Deng Area on our last day!

🍽️ We explored the local foodie scene with recommendations from 小紅書. Quick tip: Get there early to beat the lines - we had to wait an hour for the xiao long bao! My favourite was the oyster omlette from Tian Tian Li Delicacies.🥟😋

👕👜 We found out that you can customize t-shirts and bags with the cutest sanrio and disney characters at Uniqlo. This exclusive experience (only in Japan and Taiwan) definitely added some fun and flair to our adventure. 🎨🛍️

✈️ Heading back to the airport, we had a not-so-great (and pricey!) food experience - reminder to grab a bite outside before getting there! Lesson learned for next time. 🍲💡

👭 Saying good bye to my friend as she headed back to HK and hopping back to Macao myself marked the end of this whirlwind trip. Short but oh-so-sweet - Taiwan, you were a blast! 🌟👋

【Day 2】Travel diaries in Taiwan! We joined a guided tour through Klook was definitely the best decision, making it so easy to explore Jiu Fen and Shi Fen.

🍲 Kicking off the day with a delightful hot pot experience at the renowned Taiwanese chain Wu Lao - the soup was very fragrant, especially with the unlimited duck blood and tofu refills! Apparently, the one in Macao does not taste as good as the one from Taiwan so highly recommend to try it out.

🚌 Meeting the tour guide at 1:30 PM marked the start of the journey. First stop: Shi Fen, where the waterfall was very breathtaking.

🏮 And then came the magical moment at the famous sky lantern place, where my friend and I penned our wishes about money. Little did we know, luck was on our side as we stumbled upon $1000 TWD on the ground later that night - talk about a pleasant surprise! 🌠🤑

🌃 Wrapping up the day with a visit to Jiu Fen, it felt like stepping into a world straight out of a Studio Ghibli movie, reminiscent of "Spirited Away." The street was adorned with an array of street food, although I only found it to be just decent. 🍢🏮

Each stop on this tour brought its own enchanting moments, and I cannot wait to see what else Taiwan has in store! 🇹🇼💫

【Day 1】Travel diaries in Taiwan ✈️🇹🇼
After over 20 years, Taiwan welcomed me back with open arms! Waking up at 3 AM to catch my first flight was totally worth it for the amazing experiences that followed:

🏨 Starting off at the new MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel – it was 3-minute walk away from the station, highly recommended for a comfortable stay and easy access!

🍜 Then, the highlight of the day – queuing up for Michelin Awarded Taiwanese Beef Noodles, Liu Shan D**g, for lunch. There were a lot of tourists, and we waited around 45 minutes. It was decent.

🍍 Next stop was the Kuo Yuan Ye Museum for a hands-on lesson in making traditional pineapple cakes. 2 hours of mixing and LOTS of butter revealed the secret to their deliciousness!

🌧️ Lastly, unexpected rain shuffled our plans, leading us to the iconic Taipei 101 instead of the night market. The night view was breathtaking, and the photo props made for some unforgettable moments captured!

I invited my Japanese YouTuber friend, Tomoki-san, to experience the most expensive Ohte Seafood Ramen ($888MOP) at Four Seasons Macao.

The ramen is cooked with fresh lobster and mixed with crab and miso paste. On top of that, the soup is infused with insane flavors of scallop, abalone, and shrimp. Tomoki-san even mentioned that the noodles were softer than the usual ones you find at ramen restaurants, almost like soba noodles.

While acknowledging that this extravagant creation might not be found in Japan, Tomoki-san still enjoyed this experience. The question remains - would you be daring enough to take on this culinary adventure?

🌟 Exciting News, Macao! 🌟 McGriddles has finally made its way to our shores, and the hype is real! It caused a huge frenzy in Hong Kong with a sold-out launch day, this new addition to our McDonald's menu is creating quite a buzz.

But here's my take: I personally tried the McGriddles, and I have to be honest - it didn't quite hit the spot for me. Picture this: a sausage and egg McMuffin, but with soft, pancake-like buns instead of the usual English muffin. While some love the blend of sweet and savory flavors, I found it to be a bit of a strange combination. The pancakes ended up being a bit too soggy, leaving my hands feeling quite sticky afterwards.

【🇲🇴✨TIPS you MUST know before going to the BIGGEST Water Park in Macao】🌟 Just got back from an amazing trip to the Grand Resort Deck at Galaxy! 🏝️ Here are some helpful tips for those of you planning to visit in the future:
1️⃣ Don't forget to bring $20 cash! The locker machines only accept exact change and the lockers are quite small, so be prepared and pack light.

2️⃣ Keep an eye out for an open spot at the hair dryer area after you shower! There are only two spots available, and the line can get pretty long. Trust me, I've run there butt naked just to dry my hair quickly! 😅

3️⃣ A waterproof phone bag is a must-have! You'll want to keep your phone safe while capturing all those amazing videos and photos!

4️⃣ Make sure to pack swimming shoes. They're a game-changer for walking on land and in the swimming pool without getting sand all over your feet.

【Hong Kong Travel diaries 🇭🇰】The highlight of the day was undoubtedly witnessing Aimer's powerhouse vocals live in concert. As a popular Japanese anime singer, she captivated the audience with her mesmerizing performance. The fact that her tickets sold out within minutes made the experience even more special. Finally seeing her perform live was a dream come true, ticking off a major milestone from my bucket list. 🎤✔️

Before the unforgettable concert, we indulged at the newest Japanese patty house in IFC Hong Kong. A piece of advice: don't forget to make a reservation on instagram at least a week in advance! The set meal offered, with three patties, unlimited rice refill, and a refreshing drink. The bustling atmosphere and mouthwatering flavors made it an experience worth savoring. 🍔🥤

💐 We also explored the enchanting Naked Flowers exhibition at Tsim Sha Tsui. While smaller than Team Lab, the exhibit was a visual delight with stunning displays that made for picture-perfect moments. Pro-tip: dress in white to enhance the beauty of the photos. 【LAST DAY】Travel diaries in Singapore! ✈️🇸🇬Wow, I can't believe my time in Singapore has already come to an end. I decided to make one last stop at the stunning Team Lab exhibit. Even though some parts were under renovation, what I experienced was simply magical. The sights and sounds of this immersive exhibition truly transported me to another world.

But no trip to Singapore is complete without indulging in the local cuisine, and I had been craving Laksa all week. So, I decided to visit 328 Katong Laksa, a Michelin-awarded restaurant that has been highly recommended by friends who have studied in Singapore. What I found unique about their Laksa was that they don't provide chopsticks, but instead, you have to eat it with a spoon since the noodles are shredded. Though it was delicious, I may have drank a bit too much water afterwards!

As I headed back to the airport, I couldn't help but wish for just one more day to explore. Changi Airport was truly a wonderland with so many things to do and see - I even had to take the sky train to get through different terminals! It's no wonder why it's ranked as the world's number 1 airport.

【DAY 5】Travel diaries in Singapore! ✈️🇸🇬 Chill day vibes at Marina Bay Sands. Swimming in the world's largest infinity pool while taking in the stunning nighttime views - check✅ After days filled with adventure, we decided to take it easy and recharge. We enjoyed a cozy Disney movie night at the hotel, letting ourselves just unwind and recharge. Ended our foodie adventures at the Marina Bay Sands food court (It was soooo packed), satisfying our Singapore cravings for the last time. And finally, topped it off at Lavo's rooftop bar with limited-time seating (1 hour) and an amazing view. I recommend to book a few months ahead for Lavo. Can't believe this was our last day here, time just flew with my bestie 🥲
