When it comes to building your brand’s online presence, authenticity should be at the forefront of your mission. Some of you may follow me and other social media management accounts to figure out the “perfect” way to be on social media, but in seeking perfection, you’re losing a major part of your brand, which is YOU. Understanding that there is a difference in the way you face your content STRATEGY vs. the way you face the TONE of your content is the most important step - your followers want to feel as though there’s someone just like them behind the screen, and with the right game plan, you can achieve this! If you’re struggling with feeling stiff when it comes to how you’re presenting your voice on social platforms, the next time you go to post, try this: write your text post or caption as if you are texting with a friend. See what happens when you loosen up the way you “speak” (type); then, add a call to action for your comment section and see if your followers interact in a more personal way! It will take some time and practice, but remember being authentic online will only bring more joy and purpose to your brand 🤍
