Why not just go for it because we all start at the beginning….
I will be open and honest with you, I was extremely nervous and self conscious about uploading the video of me running yesterday because my harsh self critical voice was shouting at me loudly: ‘you’re not good enough at running’, ‘look at how slow you are running people are just going to laugh at you’ or ‘you will never be a proper runner’.
I thankfully catch myself just before actually editing the video of me running I was actually considering speeding up the clip so that my running pace seemed faster! And then I realised….
But why? Why do we do this to ourselves?
We expect to be good or an expert in the very thing we just started! I mean realistically when does that ever happen? Do you jump straight into a car for the very first time and instantly become a legendary F1 driver? No 😂
It takes consistency, patience and time to be able to improve your skill set in whatever it is that you are working towards and longing to achieve!
Location has energy, time has a memory. If you do something at the same time every day, it becomes easier and more natural. If you do something in the same space every day it becomes easier and more natural. This is habit stacking!!!!
Love is love and therefore it should always win hearts not hate!!!! 🌈❤️🙌🏻🥰

No one is superior to me!
And I am not superior to anyone else!
The only thing that is superior to anyone, in my personal opinion, is the Universe’s energy, power and karma!!!

Sometimes you just have to admit your mistakes and just laugh at how ridiculous they are and learn from them!!! Because at the end of the day that is why mistakes happen as we are all imperfect humans and that’s ok, just learn and grow in wisdom!
What is the main thing you would like to achieve this year?
What makes you feel fulfilled? Honestly and truly for me, it is helping others because there is just no other feeling quite like it! I love to share my knowledge and experience whether that is in regards to mental health or business. Both have the potential to be life changing! Beware of the shining object syndrome! ‘Gold dust is beautiful, but come too close and it will blur your vision’. The tendency to be easily distracted by new and exciting opportunities or ideas, often leading to a lack of focus and unfinished projects. It’s like being drawn to shiny objects, metaphorically speaking, instead of sticking to one task or goal. Don’t get too blinded by the new and latest gadgets out there like having an up to date iphone, iPad etc because at the end of the day they are just purely materialistic objects! Instead how about using that money to invest in yourself or your future or both for that matter because if we are thinking logically and realistically that is where the true change to your overall lifestyle is going to happen. Materialistic things don’t give you power status or a higher sense of importance, the real value is in your personality, life experiences and strength of character!
Our thoughts are like clouds passing by. The self, like the sun, always there. We are not our minds! Sometimes we can become totally consumed by own thoughts and all the negative noise that becomes trapped within our headspace. Just as it reads above, let your thoughts come and go freely! Don’t pay any particular attention to the noise because that is how the flow stops and then that energy gets trapped within your body and mind. You are not your thoughts! Your thoughts are not fact!
The four motivations are: ⚠️ Fear: can be described as being driven by sickness, poverty, fear of hell or fear of death. ⚠️ Desire: seeking personal gratification through success, wealth and pleasure. ⚠️ Duty: motivated by gratitude, responsibility and the desire to do the right thing. ⚠️ Love: compelled by caring for others and the urge to help them. Ask yourself are you doing it for the right reasons?
Do you audit your time? 🕰️ Make time for the important stuff in your life! This particular day was incredible and much much needed. Let me set the scene for you! I was totally burnout mentally and physically from working six days in my retail job that same week and for my one singular day off I completely relaxed reading my book in front of the log fire with Rizo all curled up and snoozing beside me! (That is the very first time I have heard her snore! 😂💤). Now I know with my whole heart that I don’t want to have to leave Rizo at home every time I go to work!!! I want to be free to spend all my time with my adventure buddie living life on the open road in our campervan! 🚐 This is why I am building my online business to get me to this point, quit my retail job, not be restricted to one location and allow Rizo to live her best life alongside me! Here are some journal prompts I also used: 📝 See where and how you spend most of your time and see if that aligns with your true values. 📝 What are the values behind that decision? 📝 Are your earnings from your job ultimately serving your values!

Why is breath-work so important? 🫁 We experience every emotion with the change of our breathing pattern. And when you learn to navigate and manage your breath, you can navigate through any situation in life! If you think of any emotional situation whether you are angry, sad or stressed, try to take note of how the pattern or rhythm of your breathing changes. Acknowledge that change and work with yourself for yourself and bring your breathing back to a level of calm. It is such a great natural, portable and super effective coping mechanism!!!!
