PFUJ Sindh Action Committee meeting to march against the non-arrest of the killers of Shaheed Jan Muhammad Maher
A meeting of the Action Committee was held at the Karachi Press Club under the chairmanship of Mazhar Abbas.
In the meeting, concern was expressed regarding the non-arrest of the real killers of Shaheed Jan Muhammad Maher. The meeting formulated the initial action plan regarding the march and sit-in from the Karachi Press Club to the Chief Minister's House on November 20. A committee was also formed to invite civil society, lawyers' organizations, trade unions and newspaper and electronic channels owners to participate.
The committee participants also approved the arrangements related to the cooperation of Karachi Press Club for the journalists coming from Sindh in March. FEC, Khalid Khokhar, Javed Asghar Chaudhry, President Hyderabad Press Club Lala Rehman Samon, President Karachi Press Club Saeed Sarbazi, President Hyderabad Union of Journalists Iqbal Malah, Bureau Chief KTN Waheed Rajpar and Vice President CPNE Aamir Mehmood were included.
