The University and the college Students' unions across India are joining together in a national convention, ‘Unions In Action’, on 29th February 2020, at HKS Surjeet Bhawan, New Delhi. The main office bearers of all the students unions, including Aishe Ghosh(JNUSU President), Abhishek Nandan(HCUSU President), Parichay Yadav( Pondicherry Central university SU President), Aisha Kader(TISS Mumbai General Secreatary), Chitranjan Kumar(Gujarat Central University Students Councillor) and the representatives from the central and state university unions like Jamia Milia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, as well as the college unions of the country.
The elected student leaders representing the student community of various campuses across the country will declare the students' mandate against the current regime of oppression. The aim is to chart out a united and determined plan of action for the coming days on demands concerning the student community across the country. This convention will further intensify the struggles of Indian campuses, which will also build a stronger link with the broader democratic movements and struggles outside the campuses.
The Coordination Committee for the program would like to invite you to the Press Conference at 3.00pm on 29th February 2020, at the HKS Surjeet Bhawan, Kotla Road, Delhi 110002 (Near Mata Sundari College). The student leaders will address the press conference.

Another video has been brought to light which is once again exposing the false claims home ministry and Delhi Police propagating against Jamia Millia Islamia university students. The police personals, para military are shown entering into the university library with hiding their faces with clothes and brutally beating up students who were reading inside the library. The police mob thrashed every single student who were doing their academic works.
It was clear in the video that the force entered library with a prior plan to unleash terror on students. The same police have been seen being mute spectators while Sangh goons opened firing at Jamia students multiple times in recently. Beyond the shadow of any doubts, it is evident that police is acting at the orders of their political masters at the home ministry. SFI demands the home minister who turned the JMI campus into a war zone must resign from the office immediately. We also demand a free and fair judicial enquiry and punish all culprits on an immediate basis.
