MORE OR LESS PHP1,020,000.00 WORTH OF SUSPECTED SHABU SEIZED IN BARANGAY TETUAN, ZAMBOANGA CITY
Elements of Special Operations Unit 9, PDEG (lead Unit ), together with ZCPS6, ZCPS 3, RDEU9, TSC and 904th Coy both of RMFB 9, and C2-ACC PAF, in coordination with PDEA9, RIU9 and IMEG9 conducted a joint buy-bust operation on illegal drugs under PDEA along Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City.
The operation resulted in the arrest of a male, and a resident of Brgy. Asinan, Zamboanga City.
Confiscated during the operation were three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” weighing more or less 150 grams with an estimated standard drug price of Php 1,020,000.00, one (1) cellular phone keypad Starmobile, one (1) bill of Php 500.00 as buy-bust money incorporated with bundle of boodle money and one (1) black sling bag. The arrested suspect will be brought to Zamboanga City Forensic Unit for drug test and Zamboanga City Medical Center for medical examination, while the recovered drug evidence will be subjected for laboratory examinations with the ZCFU. The non-drug evidence will be under the custody of the Investigator-on-Case. The arrested suspect will be temporarily detained at the ZCPS 6 while appropriate charge for violation of Sec. 5, Art. II, RA 9165 is being prepared for referral before the Zamboanga City Prosecutor’s Office against the suspect.
