ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY: The role of media information in education in the new normal brought by Covid-19 pandemic

Covid is really out of control, it makes our lives change and it includes the schooling before and now. Before the pandemic came we only have one learning method which is the Face to Face class or the traditional classes. This is where the teacher and the student meet in a set place for a set time, for either one-on-one learning or, most commonly, in group class lessons similar to what happens in school. Face to face learning is a really effective way to learn knowledge and skills because it often combines different ways of learning including writing, reading, discussion, presentations, projects, group work, film clips, demonstration and practice.
On the other hand, this is where the role of media information in education in the new normal brought by Covid-19 pandemic came because they added the alternative learning methods which are the online classes, modular, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting and many other options because of the pandemic. Media information in education is really important in today's generation since we can't use the face to face learning methods. I can personally say that media information is really useful to both teachers and students. For teachers, they use media information to make some online orientation because many students can handle their modules by their self onlyn. And for students they use it for searching some lessons that we can't understand. I know it's hard to adjust in this time of pandemic but thanks to media information, it makes it much easier.

How I Utilized these gadgets for communication

1. I used this when creating a PowerPoint presentation or making some technology related projects like making soft copies of portfolio.

2. To update my love ones when I'm not with them using this gadget. I also use this for my social media.

3. Watching latest news for me to be updated in what's happening in my surroundings.

4. Sometimes I use this for listening music but most of the time I use this for latest news also.

5. Printing hard copies of my activity worksheet and I use it when printing personal letters

Positive effects/ influence on communication with others.

1. I can easily finish my projects on time using this gadget and by that I can also pass my projects to my teachers on time.

2. Faster communication with my love's one and I'm updated because of my social medias

3. I can easily determine if there's a good news or bad news and I can get some important informations.

4. This time of pandemic we can use it when discussing some lessons and also to easily get some news.

5. Printers are now essentials to both teachers and students because we use it in printing our modules.

Negative effects/ influence on communication with others.

1. The effect of laptop in our physical health includes poor eye sight because of the radiation that screen of it producing.

2. Irresponsible use of cellphone can lead to miss communication and that's really dangerous because social media platforms are so wide.

3. When the media produce a fake news it will spread like wild fire because television can easily passed the news to everyone.

4. Just like television, radio broadcasting is dangerous if it creates some fake news.

5. Sometimes the printer's quality is not nice that makes some hardcopies unreadable that creates misunderstanding.
