From seeing a snowboard in Tracks Surf Magazine to inventing snowboards for Australian mountains, to fighting for snowboarding to be allowed in resorts. Thor Prohaska had a vast influence on the evolution of snowboarding becoming mainstream in Australia. His journey started out with inventing snowboards in Australia in the early 1980s which lead to fighting for snowboarding to be allowed in the Victorian resorts in Australia.
