It has been three eventful months since the start of the school year at José Rizal University. One particular highlight was on September 28, 2023, when a momentous occasion took place - the Mass Induction ceremony where we warmly embraced and officially welcomed our newly elected set of officers for the recognized student organizations and the Central Student Council. The Journal also took the Journalist's Creed.

Graduates are gearing up for the most significant event of their academic careers as college graduation ceremonies draw near. In keeping with that, the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management held their Graduation Ball '23 last June 3, 2023, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. As the graduating students moved closer to the conclusion of their academic careers, it was an evening of tenacity, opulence, elegance, and joyousness.

Let's watch and be inspired as the graduating students, executive faculties, and Dr. Kathleen G. Apilado, Dean of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, discuss their aspirations for the future, the valuable lessons they acquired, and their intended message to the graduates, led by the Ediitor-in-Chief and Associate Editor of The Journal, Noelle Medina and Ydalen Dela Cruz.

The "𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐫: 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬" have recently been held in order to honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the various Rizalian Student Organizations’ leaders who have shown their dedication to excellence over the course of the academic year 2022–2023. Excitement filled the auditorium as the honorees from various groups gathered to receive their due acclamation.

The incumbent president of PATA Philippines JRU Student Chapter, Frannie Anne Bellido; as well as the Stars of the Night, Drinnie Angeline Tutanes, from the Rizalian Psychological Society, and Albert Maxino, of the Young Educators Society, shared their insights on the value of excellence in their roles as student leaders.
