Better late than never amirite?? New episode out now! Tune in to learn about Julius Eastman, an all-around self-confident powerhouse.
If you’ve been keeping up with our release schedule (the second Sunday of every month), you might have noticed that there was no new episode this month. That’s because we’re busy bees at Classical Queeros who, unfortunately, have to do other things to survive, lmao.
However! Instead of giving you a terrible full-length episode, we’re giving you a great bonus episode! Check it out now to hear Hot Mess in action at an open mic night from 2019.
But wait! There’s more!
If ten people join our patreon, we will release the full video of this recording! The bonus episode you have now has only two songs, while the video has three (and is also in video format). You don’t have to sign up for a really high tier–ten people at the $2 level will unlock this extra special viewing experience 😎
Finally, if you haven’t already, go check out our last episode, with the amazing Julianne Colwell of @ariapodcast !!! She did an amazing job teaching us all about Sister Rosetta Tharpe and why we should all know who she is. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts!
New episode is out TODAY with the incredible @ariapodcast where we discuss Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Join us as we learn about her role in the birth of Rock and Roll!

Transcript:
A: So, uh, in my opinion, Sasami Ashworth has a vibe that is hard to explain and hard to attain.
S: oooo
A: She is extremely vulnerable and honest in her music, but she’s also, like, really confident and relaxed. The very first song of hers that I listened to is called “Not The Time,” and I watched the music video for it. She dresses up as this weird clown with a cape and like a thin, curly pencil mustache drawn on her face, and she rides around LA on a bike, playing French horn. And that’s the music video.
S: Whoa, like at the same time??
A: NO! Omg
S: like, that by itself-
A: I know, can you imagine? But she does have this harness, like a baby harness, that she puts the horn in when she’s walkin around.
S: Awwww!
