Listen up Queens! 🗣 It is absolutely okay to take the time to relax or press pause whenever you feel you need to. Whether it’s in your career or personal life, give yourself grace to do what you need to for your overall wellness. You don’t need to explain it or justify why it’s necessary to anyone. You can always let your clients and close family/friends know that you need some time to yourself but you do not have to feel compelled to give an excuse or carry guilt for the things you need.

First 👏 of 👏 all 👏 it’s WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH babes!! We celebrate our vibes every day but there is a high vibration of energy throughout this month where we’re reminded of the battles we’ve had to fight to come all this way. Much like with Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, we don’t celebrate who we are and where came from in those months alone, but we are empowered by being reminded of where we came from as we continue pushing forward to where we need to go. Today’s by Serena Williams is so aligned with Jessica Rosado’s message this morning (view in ). In a 2012 interview with The National she said, “I really think a champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall.”

Don't let anyone tell you it's all about the wins. We learn so much more in the middle of uncertainty, discomfort, and tribulation. How we move through those circumstances, pushing through our obstacles and into our glory is what makes us winners. Accomplishments are absolutely incredible, but what you went through to get there is what makes you the powerful entity that you are. You have an anointing on your life and your current discomfort does not define the champion within. Today, be powerful and be courageous.

Haven’t we all been there before? As women, our very presence in a room can make men feel inferior. Our brilliance and capability was discovered long ago and out of an inferiority complex, we were forced to keep quiet and dim our light because our views of what the world should look like would surpass those of men.
⁣
We were told our only place in society was to bear children and maintain the home. We were told that if our husband abused us, we would have to stay married and maintain the status quo. We were told our ideas and innovation were ridiculous. We were told our emotions would keep us from rational thinking and seeing clearly. We were told we don’t deserve financial stability and recognition in the way that men do. We were told we couldn’t vote because our say had no validity. ⁣
⁣
Collectively, we’ve been knocked down and spoken over more times than we can keep up with. Our society is imbedded with the idea that a woman should always come second to a man. ⁣
⁣
Today, we’re here to tell you to never keep quiet or dim your light. Your brilliance and capability is needed in this world and together, we will continue to fight for our voices to be heard. Never forget that women breathe life into legacies and generations. ⁣
⁣
Our voice isn’t going anywhere and if you haven’t heard...WE ARE SPEAKING. ⁣

We all have different processes when it comes to professional, spiritual, and personal growth. We wanted to share with you a valuable resource we’ve been using to strengthen our walk with the Lord and preparing for the next level. We recently started this devotional journal, 100 Days of Believing Bigger by Marshawn Evans Daniels, and so far, it has been wonderful!

We recommend using this devotional journal if you are looking to grow and prepare for your next level. It’s important to remember that before we can take that next big step, we need to have a solid sense of peace and trust in what God has for our purpose.

We have lost our “Great Dissenter,” but her impact will live on. She was one of just nine women who earned a law degree from Harvard. She was the first female tenured professor at Columbia Law. ⁣

She founded the Women’s Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union, crafting legal cases for women’s equality that were brought before the Supreme Court. In 1993, she became only the second female Justice in history. ⁣

You think we would forget Women’s Equality Day? Absolutely not! 💥⁣⁣⁣

We’ve been busy bees preparing for all things 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟐 🤫 but had to take a break to recognize the day that went down in history as the day women were 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 the right to vote. Sounds wild doesn’t it? Women had to 𝐅𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 in order to be 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 a basic constitutional right, that had been easily granted to white men. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
While we celebrate 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 as the day we were finally recognized as effective and capable members of society and we honor the incredible women who paved the way for our voices to be heard, let today also be a reminder that everyday basic constitutional rights are being violated and until we 𝐀𝐋𝐋 experience 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 and 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲, there is much more work to be done. ⁣
