Didn’t email for the code because I don’t have the equipment to play Tekken 8 😢 but sure as hell everyone who doesn’t have a code is feeling super bummed out right now.

THE MONKEY CUP TOURNAMENT RULES AND GUIDELINES For PLDT edition
(Take time to read participants)

1. General

1.1 The Player/Participant assumes that each participant who enters the tournament is aware of all the rules and checks them periodically . Insufficient knowledge of the rules can not be used as an excuse for breaking the rules.

1.2 The Player Should only Use or Register One (1) PSN Account

1.3 Every participant who breaks a rule, will be punished. The exact way of punishment will be decided by the Admin involved. Examples of punishments are: 3-0 loss, replay, leaving the tournament early, a temporary ban or a permanent ban.

1.4 Rosters will be placed on a certain website or page and Messenger Group chat before the tournament will start. After the tournament has started, no changes or substitutes to the roster are allowed.

1.5 Matches needs to be played when their match is called upon by the host/admins.
1.6 Gamers who participate are required to play with the Gamer ID (PSN Account) they have specified.

1.7 The Gamer ID which is being used has to equal to the Gamer ID shown on the roster. If another account is going to be used, submit this to an Admin/Host BEFORE the tournament has started.

1.8 Every participant is required to be online in the chat created by the host of the tournament (For Communication Purposes)

1.9 Every player is responsible for his own connection and has to have a good internet connection to avoid possible ‘lag’.

1.10 Complaining about losing a game incorrectly after a match can not be taken into account in the final outcome of a match. If there are reasons to suspect that your opponent is not playing by the rules or serious lag occurs for a long time, report this to the admin before your opponent has taken benefit of the problem. ( The beginning of the game. )

2. Tournament Guidelines

2.1 Each player has to register by the given format or instruction said by the host or admin via page or Messenger

2.2 All participants must check themselves in 5 minutes before the tournament starts. This can be done via messenger informing the Host or Admins that you are online and ready for battle NOTE: If you do not check yourself in within the 5 minutes, you will not be eligible to participate

2.3 The game schedule and the times when the games have to be played will be published after the check-in.

2.4 The players will wait for the invitation of Either the host or admin so they can officially start the match, if your match does not consist an admin the match is not valid.

2.5 Both opponents are responsible for their connection if they are slashed or no connectivity with each other the one who will advance is the player who has the most wins from the on going tournament (Each win in a Ft3 battle is counted as One point. Note: This will be used as a Point System just Incase a certain match between two players cannot start due to CONNECTION ISSUES the player with most points proceeds to the next round)

2.6 If both players are ready and started the game it is not allowed to hold extra breaks that are not allowed in game. Unless disconnection due to Faulty session or lobby

2.7 Only Top Three Players Will be guaranteed a cash prize

2.8 To help the Host to have more online tournaments during this pandemic please like and subscribe to his Youtube Channel and page

3. Game Rules and Settings

3.1 Game settings:
* Time: 60seconds

3.2 All rounds will be played in a Best Of Three.

3.3 The winning player on an on going Battle should always stick or use the same character they won with. The Losing player has the choice of changing the stage or going to Character select, If he/she chooses to go with Character Select the stage for the next round must be set to Random. NOTE: YOU CAN NOT CHANGE CHARACTERS AND PICK THE STAGE

3.4 If the on going match or battle has been disturbed due to technical difficulties the round count will be set the same not restarted.

3.5 If the battle or match has been set to a tiebreaker 1-1 and the final game ended in a Double K.O situation The Final Game will be Restarted

3.6 Waiting Time for players is only up to 10mins if the participating player fails to play during the time given will be considered as default and punished by 2-0 game count (Keeping the Tournament as short as possible)

3.7 All games will be played In a best of 3,
Except for Loser’s, Winner’s and Grand Finals (Will be played to a best of 5
