Is Rebirth Coming to Warzone 2 in 2023?

Players can expect the return of Resurgence on Feb. 15, along with a new, smaller map for Warzone 2. Although there is no confirmation yet of any other maps available in the mode, fans eager for faster, more chaotic gameplay will enjoy the update.
As opposed to the regular Battle Royale mode, Resurgence allows fallen players to respawn and rejoin their teammates in the match, as long as a teammate is alive for 20 seconds after their death. The smaller lobbies and compact maps inspire action-packed gameplay.

If Rebirth does not make its return with the Season 2 update, players will have to wait for the release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile to play the beloved map. According to recent leaks, Warzone Mobile will feature Rebirth Island. Although there is no current release date for Warzone Mobile in the United States, fans can expect the game later this year.

The Gulag
1v1 Gulag will be returning with the launch of Season 02. Players will see the return of the original Warzone overtime mechanic - the Domination-style flag control point - in place of the Jailer.
The existing Season 01 Gulag has been edited for better 1v1 combat, but the developers have revealed that they are actively working on a dedicated 1v1 map for future seasons.
Ground loot has been revisited as well as the Loadouts that Players will spawn in with. The pool has been updated to include Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, and Light Machine Guns as Primary Weapons as the Circles progress. Shotguns have been removed from the rotation, while Handguns will remain available as Secondary Weapons.
The Gulag will grant a larger Cash reward to winning players to allow redeploying players to get back on their feet a bit faster. The Gulag will also now spawn Cash as ground loot to encourage Players to move through the area.
