EKEREMOR CONSTITUENCY III IS HOME TO PDP.
History was made at Aghoro Community yesterday, Saturday 28th of January, as Hon. Fyneman Wilson, Director General of Bayelsa West PDP Senatorial Campaign Council led other party faithfuls, support groups and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party to storm the area.
Like the proverbial saying, "no place like home" in its full glare as the whole community were agog with the presence of their illustrious son, Chief Fred Agbedi , House of Representative candidate of PDP, Hon. Michael Ogbere and among other dignitaries.
Speaking, Chief Agbedi thanked his people for the continuous support as he urge them to remain calm and not to allow themselves to be intimidated by anyone while casting their votes for PDP at the ballot.
He however pleaded with his people to support the administration of Senator Douye Diri and have faith in the return of PDP at the Federal level. Adding that the hardship caused by the APC led government will be a thing of the past.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, DG of the campaign team, Chief Fyneman Wilson, commended the Agbedi for facilitating the ongoing construction of 5.0km road project expected to link Amazor, Agge, Ogbointu, Orobiri and Amatu communities in Ekeremor Local Government Area.
The former Political Adviser also lauded the immediate past governor and PDP senatorial candidate, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson for initiating the Sagbama-Ekeremor road project
He assured the people that with what the Gov. Douye Diri has done in the ongoing project, he will take the asphalt road to Aghoro Community and its environs with their support.
Also speaking Commissioner for Labour and Employment, Hon. Stanley Braboke, youth, women leaders and PDP stakeholders in their remark assured the campaign council and other party leaders at the rally that since inception Aghoro Community has been known to be a PDP strong hold and the fact remains that all the party candidates to the presidency will be voted for during the 2023 election.
The candidates were received by their kinsmen at the palace of Acting Highness, Chief Fred Orumiene before proceeding to the campaign arena this afternoon.
