SBC repair 2/2
Since the SBC-unit didn’t work even after repairing the motor I continued deeper into the internals of the unit. No problems with valves/solenoids or connectors. But when I checked the wiring from what I assume is transistors for driving the motor I found that a bunch of wires was burnt of. Unfortunately these wires are in aluminium (wire bounding) and to my knowledge there is no way of repairing/soldering them (correct me if I’m wrong).
As far as I can understand that is the end of life for my original SBC-unit. 🤷‍♂️

So I went to the scrap yard and found another SBC-unit with a part number compatible with my VIN-number and installed it. Seems to work ok (I have brake servo again), but it’s not communicating with the other units in the car (plenty of fault codes and no abs, esp etc).
So if anyone knows if possible, and how to adopt an SBC-unit from a used car into another car please let me know. I have access to multiplexer and Xentry software. I get contact with the SBC-unit in Xentry but have not been able to have it properly adopted/initiated. The saga continues within short 🙈😅✅

Ok, so I was able to replace the broken magnets with magnets found at the scrap yard. When I apply voltage using an external power source the motor is working… but it turns out that was not the only problem with the SBC unit 🤷‍♂️ See next post
