Somewhere in Ohio...

I need to keep up with myself... and also get a new phone because this lack of reception is very annoying. That feels like such a stupid thing to say, but disconnection = anxiety for me.

Not because I need social media. I'll be fine without that. But I need contact with my family and friends, and I don't want to end up in an emergency situation and be unable to call authorities lol

Cell phones are a blessing and a curse.

I am to believe this was in Nevada, I-80 eastbound. It was taken after my journey through Donner Pass in California, something I luckily hit on a sunny day with little to no ice on the road, and no snowstorm in sight. Forever thankful for that.

Trucking has been a very unique opportunity to see the country and satisfy my wanderlust for a bit. I did it for the money. Stayed for the experience, and I've said before maybe, I do enjoy it.

It takes up sooo much of my time though. Tied with my phone having little reception as of recently, that's why things have been working slow and steady.

But hey, this business will be up and running soon. And when it happens, we'll be going at a... let's just say, a different pace.

I've never been one to follow status quo.

Regal Harrisburg, PA. Right after watching Suzume no Tojimari (Just Suzume for the English title). Fantastic film btw.

Has it felt to anybody else like the movies have lacked since Covid started? Like... aside from Puss In Boots, Spiderverse, Elemental, and any Marvel movie, it's just been... boring.

(I know Barbie and Oppenheimer are out, I just can't speak about those because I personally haven't seen them yet.)

With the writers on strike, I say rightfully so. It's about time Hollywood undergoes some changes. I've been seeing the same thing over and over again in American theaters and I am so sick of repeating tropes and "political correctness" whatever tf that is.

I always said, I'd be willing to step up and force my way in if it came to it. I'm still motivated to keep that promise. I got ideas. I like bending tropes. I like trying to create twists to throw off the audience. Granted, I keep a lot of it to myself because nothing is finished, but I definitely have a couple good projects I think would do well.

Guess that remains to be seen, huh?

What sucks about when I went up the day it was taken, there was construction on the deck. Still worth it to see the view - this is a favorite place of mine.

If you wanna know - I'm an artist! And a writer. I've posted a recent picture but I got a lot more that I would love to share. Perhaps seldom on here, for I plan to have Instagram be the focus point for my work. Even though the app is challenging artists and making it difficult unless they follow major trends... and I don't like to conform.

My working name is "Diamond Skies Studios". Diamonds are my birthstone and I love looking up at the sky. At the clouds, feeling the sun, seeing the stars, all the good stuff.

One of my ultimate goals is to get into art school and weave my way into the current world of animation to have my stories told. Even if I have to start my own studio to do it. I'd love to shatter Hollywood for I think I got some sound ideas.

Time will tell. Let's do this 💪✨️

Petro Travel Plaza in Pittston, PA. Early mornings ✨️

I had worked at Home Depot for a year and a half. During that time, I had thought about becoming a trucker and the type of income it could possibly bring it.

I quit Home Depot at the end of March, 2022 and set out a week later to get my CDL. By May of 2022, I was a full fledged trucker and out of the road on my own.

Let me tell ya, that was a heck of a journey. Everything goes wrong when a job starts, but you learn, you push on, and I've had another great year and a half traveling the reachable 48 states and going to different locations.

It's really helped grow my wanderlust, although I returned home to work locally because I got homesick. Happens to the best of us, right?

Unfortunately ny income has taken quite a dive but I have no drive to go back out at the moment. So, Maryland is as far south as I go, and this stop in Pittston, PA is a consistent one. It's not a bad place, mind the traffic on I-81.

It was meant to be a temporary job. Starting a business is going to replace it, but if not, at least I have something stable. Long as I don't hurt my driving record, companies will want me to drive for them.

What sucks is I can't add music like on Instagram, but - I made this! Art is one of my main hobbies and something I hope to make a career out of one day!

It's a crossover between Cure Sky from Soaring High Pretty Cure ((c) Izumi Todo & Bandai) and my character, Canary Fête! Inspired by the song Hero by Ayase.

I'm quite proud of how it turned out! :D

Hello everybody! You can call me Lucy - it's nice to be here! I'm taking on a digital creation project as part of a new step in life. It's been a long time coming. So, as an introduction, here's a little about me!

Despite a history in customer service, I currently work as a Trucker and drive across the reachable 48 states of America! I've been to every one and each is more beautiful than the last, especially the West Coast! I quite enjoy the long drives. It's never boring on the roads.

When not in the truck, I'm a creator - I write stories and I create art, mainly character designs! Perhaps I'll share them one day, but for now, not quite yet.

I spent the entire summer of 2021 traveling around the New England after my anxiety kept me from working efficiently. At that time, I worked for The Home Depot, and working the customer service desk was a grueling task. So, I ascended up the mountains, traveled to the Atlantic coast north and south of Boston, and found several historical sites that have become some of my favorites! All while I started thinking... why can't I work and travel at the same time?

Why do I need a job to go back and forth to every day? What's the point? Isn't there more?

Oh, you bet, and that's what I'm here to prove. Join me on my adventure, won't you?
