A lot of new YouTubers are wondering how to exactly solve SEO issues and a lot of Youtubers are wondering why are their views and subs not going up?
I will be giving a few tips for these issues and doubts.
1) Title: Your title is the first thing people see when they come across your video. When thinking of a title that may work 2 things come to mind, 1 is the title should have keywords in it (ill be telling you how to find keywords down in the SEO part) and the 2nd thing is it should be catchy but not fake, like, "learn 10 interesting things about computers" here the title seems to be interesting and will make people want to click the video.
2) Thumbnail: thumbnail is the second most visible factor as a thumbnail is mostly what people see to ascertain the video and match it with the title. The best way to optimize this is by having a high-quality image as a thumbnail and using creative text in the thumbnail but remember having a false or exaggerated thumbnail may reduce your CTR. You can use Canva or Pixlr X for making cool thumbnails. The size of the thumbnail image is 1280*720.
3) Description: This is an aspect that is highly understated has a well-defined description as it showcases the authenticity and credibility of the video. Include affiliate product links in the description for earning money. At the bottom of your description add the keywords for your video as it will help rank the video better
4) SEO and tags: SEO is basically optimizing the text in your title, description, and tags to match some words that are searched a lot on google. Now to do this you can use something known as the Tube Buddy plugin on chrome, once logged and plugin installed you can easily search on youtube and get all stats on right, get a checklist for uploads, get a thumbnail creator and you can find and copy tags from videos who already have good SEO on youtube and use it for yourself
