the protein bar ain’t cutting it- eat 👏🏻real👏🏻food👏🏻
once I started living on my own and food shopping for myself, I realized the importance of food as self care. of course there isn’t enough time in the day with a lot of things, but you are always able to make time in the day for this that truly matter and add value to your life. for me, eating good tasting & good for me foods is one of those things.

✨shop the perimeter & focus on ~fresh~ produce
✨frozen is your friend, and I’m not talking about pizza or chicken nuggets. i always stock my freezer with frozen broccoli & mixed berries, that way I have them on hand and never have to worry about them going bad
✨beware of package foods. sure oatmeal packets are great, but have you ever checked the label. might as well eat a KitKat for breakfast. sometimes going to extra step is just like saying a “thank you” to your bod. you shouldn’t rely on convenience when it comes to fueling your body

🍞PB&J Stuffed French Toast
- bread
- 2 eggs
- splash of almond milk
Chia Jam
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Microwave berires for 2:00 & stir in chia seeds. Let sit in fridge for 15 mins.

wild salmon seasoned with salt, pepper & za’atar, string beans coated in olive oil + garlic
monday blues call for banana ice cream 😋

- 2 frozen bananas
-1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 pitted date
- dash of cinnamon
- 1 scoop vegan chocolate protein
Pulse in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Top with almond butter drizzle + chocolate chips
obsessed is an understatement. the best way to put those over-ripe nanners to use 🍌
here are the
Preheat oven to 350 and line a muffin tray with tins. Combine wet ingredients first, set aside. Combine dry ingredients, then carefully fold dry ingredients into wet. Pour batter into tins and top with chocolate chips. Bake for 20-25 and let cool before removing from pan.
•Wet Ingredients•
2 mashed bananas
Splash almond extract
1/4 cup melted ghee
2 eggs
•Dry Ingredients•
Cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of sea salt
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1 1/2 cups almond flour

1/2c rolled oats, 1 cup water or almond milk ▶️ microwave for 1:00
Add in 2 egg whites ▶️ microwave for 1:00, stir, microwave for :20- :30
Stir in cinnamon, 1-2 tsp chia seeds, top with fresh or frozen berries, almond butter & honey 🍯

in case you live under a rock, it’s air-fried chickpea season 💃🏻I really did it with this fiesta bowl.
here are the
-coat chickpeas in a drizzle of olive oil + @365.wholefoods Mexican Fiesta seasoning & air fry @400 for 10 mins
- in the bowl: baby spinach, diced cucumber, roasted sweet potato, dollop of hummus, drizzle with olive oil + juice of 1/2 lemon
some thoughts that have been on my mind lately…💭
“food freedom” is a funny thing. how could something that is supposed to be so good, nourishing, necessary for breathing, sleeping, working, laughing, functioning life have so much control over a person?
well, it’s possible. so possible that it can rule your existence, impact daily decision making & quite literally consume all of your thoughts.
for years, I was terrified of cookies. the more and more you read that line, the more it sounds like nonsense. but fear around food is a very real thing. if you are struggling right now and can’t seem to find the light, let me be an example that there is a way to break free from the toxic thoughts that rule your world and live a world full of spontaneous cookie dates. my DMs are open to anyone needing a shoulder to lean on 🤍

roasted chickpeas are having a moment right now
grab ya air fryer & make these bad boys cuz you won’t regret it
chickpeas seasoned with zaatar, garlic powder & sea salt. air fry for 8 mins at 400F, in a separate bowl pour enough olive oil to coat the bottom ( I eye ball everything, no actual measurements here). Add in a cap full of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp spicy mustard & 1 tsp honey whisk to combine and then pour the dressing over the chickpeas
nothing sweeter than a hump day treat while battling a spring flu 😮💨
