If these things are in your bio, they are probably doing more harm than good…
➡️ those ‘funky’ fonts - Instagram can’t read them (and we barely can too!) so you’re wasting your time using them as it’s doing nothing for your business’ SEO.
➡️ hashtags - hashtags don’t come up from your bio when searched in Instagram - they won’t make your profile more discoverable, so it’s a waste of time and space tbh.
➡️ links - only add links in the relevant clickable section, if not, again you’re wasting your time as no one can click or copy and paste it 🥱
➡️ irrelevant text - we don’t need to know if you’re a dog parent or love dancing, keep it professional it’s people’s first impression of you and your business.
➡️ emojis - don’t spam with emojis and waste the space (use a few if you wish, I love an emoji I think it helps to break it up) it’s your page have it without if you’d prefer!
➡️ unclear information - if you’re a business owner, keep it short and sweet as to what you do, a call to action and anything else important.
Think of your business IG profile like a Google Search - you want to display what’s important with clear info. Don’t share more than you need to ☑️
