The day after Rosemarie Aquilina and I recorded our latest on recognizing mental health issues Naomi Judd ended her life. We have lost way too many people to ***de and related mental health disorders. I wrote this feature for Psychology Today in honor of Judd, and all the warriors I have met who struggle with depression and suicidal tendencies.
Judd told People Magazine in 2016 "Nobody can understand unless you've been there." So many of us have been there. Our hearts go out to the Judd family and to anyone else who has lost a loved one to su***de.
