On Saturday the 11th of November, Turning Tables are doing their first local night at sideway. We are excited to bring some of Canberra’s premium talent with a liveset from Gnostic along with sets from Eucalypta’s Maxim & Len and Skunks.

All proceeds from this event will go towards UNICEF's Children of Gaza emergency appeal. Since the 7th of October, 3,450 children have been killed where this number is increasing daily. Only a limited supply of water and medical supplies have been able to pass the Rafah crossing. More than half million children are still in danger. UNICEF is calling for an immediate ceasefire. Next Friday (29th of September) Turning Tables will be bringing Nova Cheq (UK) ( ) to One22. We are beyond excited to bring a driving force from the UK’s hardcore jungle techno, donk, and b***y techno scene. Having releases out on labels like Sherelle and Naina’s ‘Hooversound’, DJ Spits’ Rascals, and Trax Haven, Nova Cheq will be treating us to a fast-paced multi-genre journey you do not want to miss. With support from the founder of Hyphae, Mimosa, and Canberra’s very own up-and-coming ravecore producer, Gengar, this will be a night filled with bassy goodness, hard breakage, and kicks with stacks of quick edits.

On Saturday the 2nd of September, Turning Tables are bringing our first international headliner, Peachlyfe, to Canberra’s soundwaves. We are beyond excited to bring a driving force from Copenhagen’s fast-paced techno scene to Sideway for the first time. With support from Fontenoy and Panini, this is an entire evening of melting hydra-sonic selections that will captivate your ears.

On Saturday, the 29th of April, Turning Tables will be celebrating their first release, Cosmic Cuts TBLS001, at Sideway. We welcome some of Canberra’s local producers on the compilation Space Shades and Gnostic, alongside Oi Ocha (Naarm) and Disgrays (Naarm).

PRESENTING COSMIC CUTS- TBLS001.

We are beyond excited to start our venture as a record label based in Canberra (Ngunnawal, Ngunawal, Ngambri). Our first release is a cosmic Various Artist Compilation comprising 10 spacey tracks from Turning Tables alumni.

RELEASE DATE: 28TH APRIL 2023

Preorders on Bandcamp will be available on 8th April, along with details of our launch party.

This is a non for profit release. All proceeds will go towards Go NetZero. Go NetZero is a Canberra-based business that helps individuals and businesses to take action on climate change. As well as providing a platform to offset emissions, Go NetZero aims to educate and inspire people to reduce their emissions and lobby for change.

Less then a week to go until we see you all! A pioneer for our current scene in Canberra, [email protected], will be playing her debut set at 🫶🏽

At the wee age of 16, Genie started as a resident dj at Mr Wolf. Since then she has played anywhere from Montreal to Amsterdam.
In 2019, Genie was part of the n10.aus team, curating and promoting Canberra djs & music on the online airwaves. She still throws parties with Orbit & Dazed and is as focused on Canberra as ever.
Genie returns to the old stomping ground for the first time in 4 years!

Having not played a solo set in over 2 years, Theo is excited to display a new side to a project that has been sitting on a bookshelf dormant for the last little while. Having relocated to Naarm (Melbourne), 2 years ago. Theo has used the opportunity to explore the endless opportunities and diversity that the current electronic music scene offers.

With a passion for vibes, Theo is excited to showcase a wide range of emotionally charged tunes, perfect for a sunny day party in a place that he holds dearly in his heart - One22.

As the sun starts to stream through the iconic Sydney building, expect Theo to present a blend of downtempo melodic breakbeat, flowing ambience and even some originals he has been crafting over the last little while.
