Hi everyone, Eugene here, to update you where I'm at these days.

After staying in Western Ukraine for a year, I recently moved back home. I did this not because it's become a hundred percent safe here in Kharkiv, but rather for the opposite reason — nowhere in Ukraine is fully safe, and the town where I was staying was reached by strike drones a few times. Those weren't the most fun mornings I've had in my life, for sure. So considering that, I'd much rather be at home, taking precautions to observe the two-wall rule during air alerts, and all that.

Other than survival, my band and I have been slowly working on some music of our own to help reflect on the circumstances we're in, it might see the light of day if we're lucky enough to finish it.

What concerns VV and the second season that you all have been long waiting for, I'm not going to make any promises at the moment. Listening and analyzing Tull in the way we've been doing it is very much a historical pursuit that requires an ever so slight detachment. It isn't easy for me to allow myself those moments of living in the past when there is overwhelmingly so much present. For instance, I had promised Joey that I would write this update a few weeks ago, but then r*ssia blew up the Kakhovka dam, and it took my mind off VV for quite some time again.

When we do come back, if you're hopefully still around, I may even come to have a few intelligent things to say about RökFlöte...

I'm literally finishing up writing this update to the sound of another siren. Welp, gotta keep an eye on those danger monitoring notifications in case something serious is heading in our direction. Which reminds me, I haven't yet looked up a fundraiser for today. This time my daily pledge will go towards the repair of an army pickup truck for one of the brigades.

Cheers!

Unfortunately due to the situation in Ukraine, we have no choice but to postpone season 2 of the podcast indefinitely.

Many of you have asked about Eugene and his safety. The last week has been very difficult for him. He is currently safe, but has been driven from his home with no guarantee of when he can return. Nevertheless, Eugene has been really touched by all of the support and well-wishes he's received from our listeners and would like to thank all of you from the bottom of his heart.

I hope that soon Eugene will have the time and focus to be able to speak more directly with all of you about his experience. I also hope that we will be able to return to the podcast in due time as we both feel that we have a lot of ideas left and a lot more content to provide for the Tull community. Until then please do what you can to support a democratic and free Ukraine and hope for peace as soon as possible.

- Joey
