today, i want to highlight another amazing place to support. this organizer is raising money to give as many Black prisoners possible money for books and commissary while they're incarcerated. commissary helps folks trapped in the system buy things that are necessary for survival, like food and hygiene supplies; books are just as necessary, to keep people connected to the world and combat isolation. please donate if you can and share widely either way!

friends, i apologize for my inactivity. i've been as involved as i can be in my city's protests for Black lives, so of course i haven't had time to work on any audio editing or interviews. instead, for now, i'm going to try to regularly post resources for how you can get involved and help the movement on this page. if you have any that you'd like to share, please leave them in the comments!

today, i want to highlight an atlanta organization that has been bailing literally hundreds of activists out of the jails here: altanta solidarity fund. please donate to them if you can, and, if you're in atlanta, please volunteer! they need all the people power they can get, because in addition to getting bail money, they also have folks on the ground outside of jails and detention centers, helping them get home when they don't have any of their belongings. if this helps convince you to share some of your time/money, they're the organization that bailed me out last weekend - but remember, Black protesters are way more likely to be arrested, treated inhumanely, and held for longer, and that's the heart of the reason why we're doing all this.
