This is where my two worlds meet and i praise God for the lil blessings showin up during rough times like it has been lately when i least expect it 🙏✨

Last March i flew out to Las Vegas for a photo expo to network and do bidness. There was this stunning model that I shot super brief there named Abena. I left and realized I completely forgot to get her IG but I told myself id eventually stumble and maybe connect with her again one day.

Well, today was that day. Not only did I reconnect with her, but a photo I took of her got Vogue Italia approved. And you're probably like, uhhhhh what does this have to do with gaming? ... ik wait for it... I found out that the my favorite operator who i been wanting to play as from Call of Duty MW2, Nova, character is literally based off her !!

I'm mindblown and I ultimately could not be happier for her and the growing nature of representation altogether and breaking stigmas. I hope others who live with vitiligo or other skin conditions are inspired.

Abena developed vitiligo, a condition that causes areas of skin to lose color, later in life “I first developed vitiligo actually around this time of year. Um, it was in 2010, 2011,” she said.

“I dealt with a lot of stigma growing up, you know, not really fitting in, not growing. Growing up between Ghana and America, always being too American to be Ghana and being too Ghana to be American, and then being too Black to be white and too white to be Black. I got vitiligo and then it was like this really wonderful way to show the world that skin color really doesn’t matter.”

just noticed the 5 or 6 streams I did do are all gone like?? i knew it, clear as day from seeing most streamers' experiences and pretty discouraging when ur just starting out. this platform ain't worth the time whatsoever unless you've already been established, even then, most of the creators who have worked so hard are struggling cuz this platform got nothing left to give. I'm not giving up, but we needa be moving and workin smart out here and that's where I'm at with content and streaming, literally just tryna kick it off right

i’m ngl the toxic masculinity surrounding gaming is irritating, nothing new, but i’m not desensitized to it, i just get more and more fed up with it. as women, we honestly get blamed if games get thrown and stigmatized like we can’t hold our own, always. i’m tired of it, if another “man” wants to ever raise their voice at me, miss me with tht s**t. in fact, unfollow me i could care less. some of y’all don’t see us as equals and it shows. old school mentality in the worst way possible.

AYOOOOO I HIT MASTERSSSSS 💜💜💜 shout out to this squad I finished it off with... but I want to give the biggest shout out and show love to Steezy GGs, who let me run with him throughout the split and got me through most of my Diamond warrior journey that I definitely couldn't have done by on my own. It's been nothing less than emotional and self-defeating at times, but so rewarding, and met dope people along the way. this is a one-and-done for meeeee, it's back to pub stomping and chill for me ~ !!
